Chapter 19: Regionals!

Emma's POV

Regionals. It's regionals today. Though we won nationals last time, we worked as hard. We shouldn't be confident just because we won nationals. After I gave birth we only had a month left to practice. So we did all we could. And our songs were,Valerie Santana being the lead and Time of my life lead by Quinn and Sam, and don't stop believing lead by Rachel and Finn. We changed the songs a bit. Since Shannon had spilled them. Thank goodness principal Figgins suspended her. While Suzette was left with a sitter. She needs to rest and stay at home since it would be noisy hear and it's not a good atmosphere for a child. And Will"s sister would be there so she's completely safe.

Will and I went to the backstage to go greet the kids.

"Guys!" Will clapped his hands once.

"Show circle." I say.

"I-" I said but then I was cut off.

"Ms. Pillsbury may I?" Brittany says.

"Ok Brittany."

"I just wanted to say that, I'm going to leave. I got early admission to Harvard. I know I'm supposed to stay one more year but, they made me leave. And I wanted to thank all of you. Miss P and Mr. Schue were like the impossible supple who got together and became our parents. Rachel,Mercedes and Tina. They are like the sisters I Never taught I would have. Blaine and Kurt are like the two gays who you never expected to love and call family but you do. Mike, you're like my dance partner with everything. Sugar and Joe are like the ones who got lost and were adopted by Mr.Schue and Miss P. Artie is the boy next door who builds robots in his garage. Quinn you're the sister I've been with every step of the way. Puck is the guy who made Quinn feel sad, but I love him as a brother anyway. Sam is the hot guy who I really love. And who I fake married because I thought it was the end of the world.And Marley,Kitty, Ryder, Unique and Jake are our pets who got lost in the streets and were picked up by Miss P and Mr. Schue. But they are part of our family and we love them very much. Then there's Santana. I'm speechless, words can't describe this woman. You're the best San." Brittany says

Everyone is really emotional now.

"All for one?" I cheer

"One For all!" they cheer back. Then we put all our hands in.

"Win or lose all is important is that we're together. I love you all, it's your last year this Regionals. Only some will continue the legacy of new directions for nationals so it's All or nothing!" I say. They put their hands up.

"You're up guys! Good luck!" Will says.

Quinn and Sam position at the back stage. Sam starts the first line, then Quinn. They did extremely well. I wasn't surprised by their performance they are really good kids. When the song finished there was a big round of applause. Soon it was Santana's solo. Valerie. I was speechless I never knew she could perform that well. Santana delivered it better than she ever did in practice. Soon it was the last song Don't Stop Believin' The original kids got really emotional since this was their song. The song that they lived. They were really good overall.

The other performances were ok. They didn't compare to ours, well except The Warblers.

In the end, we still won. We were going to nationals for the second time. But only with some of the kids. But we can do it! I know we can.
