There was
A time when one could be free
This isn't
An oppressive regime
It would fall under
The free people's speech
Individuality as the norm
And we deny
Boxing others into stereotypes
We won't stop
Our quest for happiness
Our government controls
Only what we let it
A charity gets
The support of many in power
Fascism has
Been crumbling for a long time
Freedom has
Reigned for a centuries
The men in our government have
Respected us
And haven't
Hurt us
Shadow governments
Don't exist
Privacy of thought
Is ours and ours alone
Nothing
