*message on twitter*

@Toby Turner I hope you get this message. My daughter is dying of a very rare condition. And all she wants is for you to come and see her before she passes. Please..if you're not to busy. It would be amazing if you came and saw her. If you see this, contact me at 736-727-8438. Thank you.

That was the message I saw on my phone as I was scrolling through my twitter. I know I am supposed to be getting ready for this show in Australia but... I just can't ignore this. I called this girls mother, her name was Amber and her daughters name was Alex. She is 15 years old with a very rare condition and the doctors say that she doesn't have much time left..a day or so.. Fortunately I decided to go back. I flew all the way to Texas, because that is where her hospital is at. I walked up to the front desk. "Hi... Uhhh... Do you know what room Alex ******* is in?" I asked. "Yes, she is in room 202 on the 3rd floor. Just sign your name and head on there." I signed the papers and nodded my thanks. I fast walked to room 202 to see a girl with pale skin, dark sunken eyes laying there. I felt my heart pull, then it hit me. This 15 year old girl is going to die... 15.. I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts. I wiped the tears that had escaped and knocked on the door.

Amber opened the door. When she saw me her eyes widened, face brightening. "Oh my gosh! You're here... You actually came" I nodded, "Yes I did. I couldn't have one of the audience be alone here." I exclaimed smiling. Amber gestured me in and I sat in the chair closest to Alex. I just sat there staring at her. She looked so peaceful, I could tell she was dreaming a happy dream because she was smiling a little. I decided to tell her mom to wake her, so I hid under the bed. "Alex..." groan "Alex... Wake up." I could hear Alex stirring in her bed. "Gosh mom. You ruined a good dream." she said chuckling, "I dreamed I met Toby. It sounded so real. You were there, we were here and he just came and visited me." "Oh really? Are you sure?" Her mom said obviously amused. I was trying to control my laughter when I just couldn't and I burst out, dying on the spot. I slide out from under the bed and stood, "Who put me under Alex's bed? That's precarious. Steven!! Where are you man? Gosh that guy always leaves me.." I said laughing hysterically. I looked at Alex as she looked at me in shock. "Oh hi! Didn't see you there. I'm Toby Turner." I said sticking out my hand. Her eyes welled up and she started to cry. Oh forget the handshake, I ran over to the bed and gave her a big bear hug. I held her until she stopped, then she hugged me back. I put my head on her head, "I heard about you from your mom, and after everything I have heard...I couldn't let you be here alone." She looked up at me with tears running down her face. "Thank you. You have no idea what this means to me. I have always wanted to meet you, at comic-con, and vid-con....Not like this, but I am just glad that you came. I can die happy now." I looked her straight in the eyes, "Don't think about that right now." I looked around for anything that we could do because she can't walk due to her condition... A wheelchair. Excellent!! I let go of Alex and walked over to the chair and wheel it to her. "Hey. How about we go on an adventure?" She nodded her head eagerly, dropping her feet to the floor. She tried to stand but she just fell back on the bed. I saw her struggle so I picked her up, bridal-style, and put her on the chair. She blushed a little but once I set her down she poked my stomach, "TAG!!" She yelled, taking off out the door and down the hallway with the wheelchair. Her mother just laughed and said "Well you're it.. Better go get her before you lose." I looked at her insulted, "I never lose! Get back here you little Nugget!!" I chased after her.
