Chapter 4: The Twins

Catnoir POV
"I need to tell you something my lady" I told her
"But Cat, can't this wait till next time? Our miraculous' are going to run out soon!" She grabbed her hand away from my grip and started to run
"Marinette" I pleaded her
"Please don't leave me...... I don't want to be alone in that mansion filled with mail from Chloe Bourgeois....." I continued
"Wha.... What do you mean my little Cat?....." She said, a worried look on her face
*beep, beep*
"I want you to know who I really am Behind the mask....my Lady, you don't know how long I've waited to see you without your mask on, but now I have.... Your Marinette! J.....Je......Je t'aime Ladybug! Je t'aime Marinette!"
(A.N. Je t'aime means I love you in French btw ma readers)
And at the moment I said that, she dropped her yoyo and stopped trying to escape.
"Je....Je t'aime Catnoir" she confessed in a small voice while looking down.
I almost fell over the roof after hearing that!
(A.N. Sorry fo so many notes but.....if you get confused who's talking in the next three sentences, then it's Adrien's mental talk with himself, to make it easier, I'll just put this before Adrien has a self mental talk: AMT, it stands for "Adrien's Mental Talks" and when it ends I'll just put 'E'okie?)
AMT
She....she loves me? Wait, does she evn like me?
Yeah......she does Adrien.....
Really?...... Or is she just doing this because it's what I just want to hear from her?

"Really?..... Please don't go saying that for my sake my Lady.... You don't....*moans*...... Just forget I ever said that...." I said; while trying to escape my embarrassing confession.....
I was about to jump of to the next building when I felt a hand intertwine it's fingers with mine.
"No, I won't Catnoir.... I really do Like You." She said, still not looking at me.
Her words made me smile
And with that I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to me..... She stiffened, but then relaxed into the embrace....
"You know.....you only said you like me my lady."
"Yeah I know, so what? I Do..... Don't have to rub it in my little kitty"  and there's the Ladybug ego coming back again.
"Well, that just means that I need to get you to Love me!" Then I put my lips onto hers; and she responded by putting her arms over my neck while keeping her lips onto mine.
And we stood there under the City's moonlight, our lips never breaking contact unless we needed to take a breath....
"Cat....." She started to say
"Hmmm?" I hummed
*beep, beep*
at the final beeping of our miraculous' a bright light covered us both, bringing us back to reality with the realisation that our powers timed out..... But while the bright light surrounded us, I saw Marinette getting pulled off my grip by some mysterious force, she was being pulled up into a portal that somehow came there without us noticing it.... She was pulled up as if she were lifeless.....almost as if she was being controlled like a puppet!
(A.N. Guys, this word: puppet, is your next clue to finding out who the next upcoming Akumatised villain would be.... As well as that, it will be your clue to finding out what ONE of the upcoming future chapters MIGHT be about.....)
"MARINETTE!!!!!" I screamed
"*gasp* ADRIEN?!!!! Cat!!! Help!!!! Ahh~"
Those were her final words until she disappeared into the portal, the portal fading away with her final screams.....
The next thing I knew, I was upright on my bed, in the middle of the night. (A.N. Hah see told ya it wouldn't go as planned, you all thought it was for real eh? Well that would be later on... For now.... Let's have some drama in this book!)
I'm so glad that was just a dream, but what was it about anyways, about the whole abduction thing?....is it trying tell me something? Is Marinette in danger!?

Adrien POV
The next day I was walking up the steps to go to school again; I was looking for Marinette, but that's when I spotted her on the courtyard, talking to two people, they're twins....and huh?*squints* They're BOYS!?!?!?
Jealousy quickly overcame me and I staggered there.....
"Marinette? *links arms* Good-morning by the way*smiles*, mind introducing me to your friends? *glares at the twins*"
"*gasp* A...Adrien um.... *breathes in and out slowly* ok, so these are the Alzen twins, there's Jake Alzen and Micheal Alzen *spreads arm to the twins to show them to Adrien*.
Jake, Micheal; meet Adrien......
Adrien; meet Jake and Micheal...."
"Nice to meet you Adrien, I'm Micheal." said the one with blue highlights on his hair.
Actually both the twins' hair looks just like Nathaniël's hair if you ask me....
"Hey, I'm Jake, nice to meet you." Said the twin with red highlights on his hair.
Maybe I was just quick to judge them, not like they're going to be my romantic rivals right?

"Hey, I'm Adrien, nice to meet you two as well *smiles*, and if you don't mind me asking......are you new to the school? Because I haven't seen you two here before."
"Yeah, we are, your teacher assigned Marinette to give us the tour on the school and keep us company for the whole week; or at least....just until we're able to settle in properly at the school." Answered Micheal
"Oh....."
AMT
Damn it, please someone, help me! I'm jealous enough that they spend more time with Marinette than I'm ever able to on a weekly basis, so they better not be my rivals in love with Marinette or who knows what I'll do.....

"Why? Is there something wrong Adrien?" Marinette asked, her brow slightly furrowing
"Oh, huh.... Oh! No, sorry, I just got lost in my thoughts a bit, that's all...."
"Ok then....well I better give Jake and Micheal the rest of the tour on school before class starts, see ya Adrien....*unlinks arms*"

My arm feels so cold now, I miss the feeling of her arm on mine already, but by the slightly pained expression and hesitation that I saw on Marinette's face before she unlinked her arm with mine; tells me that she didn't want to let go of it either! That at least would pacify my jealousy over the twins temporarily.... Not forever, just...... temporarily.........

A.N. Hey guys, so that concludes this chapter for now, took so much effort for this, ya better be thankful! Nah jk, but still..... Welllllll I did warn you so, you can't say I didn't, and well I also want to know your thoughts on this chapter... I need feedback from the readers to better improve stuff ya know? That is if you have anythign to say about it....
What else.... Oh yeah! Does anyone have any guesses about the key word "Puppet", like what does it mean, any comments about it? or even any suggestions for the next chapter? I'm happy to hear what you all have in mind! 😄😄😄😄😀😀😀😀
