I stared blankly at my closet, annoyed that there wasn't anything to wear. Not that I didn't have any clothes left--on the contrary, my closet was so full I could barely shut the door properly. But, you know, there just wasn't that exact one that would be fitting for tonight. I'm usually not like this. Heck, I usually don't even change out of my pajamas to go to class. But this was different. Tonight was the first ever annual Bangtan friends and family get together that Namjoon insisted I go to, seeing that we had been together for almost a year and all, and I did want to meet the six other guys who got to spend more time with him than I did. Seriously, they get to bother him every day and I haven't seen him since before the Japan tour, which started three weeks ago.
I heard an impact and a low groan coming from the living room, presumably from Namjoonie. Hastily, I hurried out to survey the damage and was greeted by my boyfriend, who was bent over, a hand clutching his abdomen. Judging by his proximity to the dining table, he probably ran into the corner, as he does every other time he visits. Despite the anguish etched on his face, he was still the most handsome guy in my life.
"Do you need a kiss to fix that boo-boo?" I cooed, leaning over to give him a peck right under his left ribcage. "Ah, you always manage to make things better. But, it hurts here too," he mentioned, gesturing to a spot right above where I pecked. "Is that so? I know what you're up to, don't try to fool me," I teased, but I obliged, pressing my lips to where he indicated. And the spot above. And the spot above that. And so on until I got to his collarbone, at which point I had to tiptoe to get his chin. Seeing my struggle, he laughed and helped me out by lifting me up until we were eye level. Or, rather lip level. Before I could even register my new elevation I felt his warm lips on mine, telling me without words how much he missed this. I did too.
