     "Love you!" Mom said for what felt like the thousandth time since we got to the airport.

     "Love you too, again" I said with a smile. I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Eve and I'm on my way to Pinepoint prep, one of the best schools in Canada after being discovered by the vice principal in the fall. I had been excited all year to go to this school although now it just felt so far. You see, I'm from Ontario and Pinepoint prep is all the way in Alberta, a 5 hour flight. 

"Last boarding call for flight 42 traveling to Alberta" We heard over the speakers

"Mom I gotta go!" I said 

"Ok call me as soon as you land ok?"

"Promise" I answered and after one last hug I was off through the gates and boarding the plane. 

     As I got settled into my seat at the very back of the plane I thought of everyone I was going to miss, my mum, my bestfriend Sydney and my trainer Kate.I sighed knowing that I'd make so many new friends but it was so hard to leave. Then I thought of my horse Sam and smiled, I hadn't seen him for a few days because we had shipped him ahead to get Settled in before all of the hustle and bustle of move in day.  I had bought him just one year ago in the summer and we had gotten along instantly. I knew straight away he was the one although he would require a lot of training as he was an ottb. We had done a few shows together but nothing close to the crazy showing schedule there would be at Pinepoint! It was a school known across the country for it's amazing riders and perfect scores. That's what surprised me the most, I never considered myself an amazing rider but one day when the vice principal Ms. Hudson was away in Ontario she came to the barn to find one new rider for next year. Turns out that lucky girl was me! I had always needed to pay for all Sam's expenses so the fact that I was getting a scholarship here lifted a very heavy weight off my chest knowing  wouldn't be in charge of paying the bills. 

     The flight seemed to take forever with all the nerves in my system. A new school, new friends, new province how was I ever going to survive?! A very long 5 hour flight later we arrived in Alberta. I got all my luggage and found the driver that was going to take me to Pinepoint prep. I put all my luggage in the trunk and we were off closer than ever to what I had been waiting for all year. The car drive was filled with excitement and lots of nerves as I smelt the cool mountain air through the open window. That's when a saw it, the sign that read "Pinepoint prep" in big bold letters. My stomach started tossing and turning with butterflies and I thought I may explode. But this was the school of my dreams, no need to be nervous! Right?
