"Liam doesn't count," she laughs. "Justin doesn't either."

"Yeah? Well...well, there's you."

She laughs. "I definitely don't count."

He stares at her. Eyes hard and brown like cognac, his brow pinches and his teeth take the corner of his lip between them.

"Yeah," he finally nods. "Yeah. You do."
