I can probably speak for everyone when I say, "We all have dreamed of dating an anime character." I though it was funny how my sister keeps bringing up the story on how I first became a fangirl. We were both sitting in the living room, watching Naruto. Every time Naruto would come on, we would both sit down in the living room and fantasize over which boy was the cutest and which village would we best see fit. After a few years of watching anime, I started to get more..."anime crazy" over the shows. I bought the toys, the videos, and even, yes, the costumes. One day, my sister told me about Comi-Con. I asked her what it is. She looked at me and said, "A fangirl like you doesn't even know what Comi-Con is? I'm completely surprised at you. Okay, so look Comi-Con is this HUGE convention where people from all over the world and such, come down here to dress up and act like there favorite character from any and every anime show known to man!" My eyes were widen when she explained to me everything about it. After all of that she told me that it was this Saturday. I felt my heart stop and I passed out from all that screaming. I looked up and did research on all my favorite characters, but it only came down to one. I was totally going to Comi-Con as.....Deadpool. Deadpool was just that awesome (okay I know he was not an anime character but you have to admit, Deadpool is pretty badass). When we got there, of course I had to act like Deadpool, so I did. The funny thing about it was that I actually had to voices in my head (trust me on this one people, I'm not crazy). The really smart one was named Kimiko and the really silly, playful, dumb one was Mikune. These two girls really helped me stay into character and thanks to them I won second place in the rookie Comi-Con contest. I will always cherish the day that I became an amazing fangirl. ✌🏾
