Zahria's POV
I woke up and realized I'm at home in my bed. As I look around I notice it's dark out. I Look around My Room confused. Then everything came flooding back. Sincer and Tasha... Blood on Sinver's face.... Vampire? Can be they don't exist or do they? "How in the hell did I get here?" I thought. "Shit shit shit! " I screamed as I ran into my living room to call Kia. As I ran into my living room I stopped dead in my tracks my heart dropped and I fell to my knees no longer able to support my own weight. " please don't hurt me Sincer I promise I won't tell anyone about you I don't want to die not yet anyway" I pleaded as tears stream down my face.
" Zahria I would never do anything to hurt you, you are the most precious thing to me in the world" Sincer said sounding broken.
" But I saw you kill Tasha" I whispered. " Wait a minute what do you mean the most precious thing to you in the world ? You don't even know me."
" can you please get up off the floor and calm down and I promise I will explain everything to you" Sincer said sounding a bit nervous.
I sat in the chair across from the sofa where Sincer sat, my heart was beating so fast I thought it would jump out of my chest.
Sincer cleared his throat and began. " well as you now know I am a vampire but I'm not just any vampire I'm the king of vampires and both of my parents were born vampires. my brother and I moved here to expand our businesses and to find our mates. I was heading back home to Atlanta the day I interviewed you but I couldn't. the reason why you are the most precious thing to me in the world is because you are my mate and my future queen. as far as Tasha is concerned I was feeding off of her as a form of punishment for being rude to you and having you do all of her work.
After he told me everything I didn't know how to feel I was so confused and my head hurt like hell. " Sincer can you please leave I need time to get my head together and process all of this information" I said staring at the floor.
" sure if you need to you can work from home until you feel comfortable coming back to the office" he stated as he let himself out.
I took a shower to try to calm my racing mind when that didn't work I decided to call Kia over.
" Hi Kia are you busy? "
" No babes, what's up? "
"Can you come over? I really need my best friend. "
" Sure, no problem. Give me thirty minutes ,OK? "
" OK see you soon "
Kia's POV
I'm at the coven house meeting with my fellow witches and warlocks when I get a call from Zahria. She sounded very upset so I agreed to meet with her ,it's not like I have a choice I've been assigned to befriend her and bring her back to our coven. you see I'm a witch and our coven is getting weaker every year and Zahria has special blood that can make us immortal. before I leave I am given a bottle of wine from one of the warlocks that will put her to sleep for a few days.
As I get Zahria's I made sure to cover my scent before walking up to her building just in case the bloodsucker or his goons are around . I knock on her door and put my game face on.
She opens the door and lets me in.
" What's up chick ?" I asked trying to sound concerned.
" okay first of all please don't think I'm crazy and second please don't tell anyone "she said sounding a bit unsure.
" before we get started I brought you some wine to relax you".
" thank you you are a lifesaver". she said going to the kitchen grabbing two glasses as I pop the bottle.
She sits down and pour us some wine and begins to spill her guts .by the time she is done ranting she has emptied the whole bottle without my help .Then the strangest things start to happen.
Zahria's POV
I'm sitting in my living room talking to Kia and drinking wine .When all of a sudden my hands start to glow and I start to feel weird. I begin to panic and Kia is screaming like her life depends on it. Before I knew it the bottle is flying across the room at her. "WTF? " I scream. It feels like my whole body is on fire. My door burst open and it's Sincer and Chris.
" Sincer what is wrong with me? "
"You have awaken my love " is all he says before picking me up and walking outside .
"Chris grab Kia and calm her down then put her in the car." Sincer yelled down the hall.
the last thing I heard was Kia sobbing and saying she was sorry.
