Chapter 10

Jennas P.O.V.

"It got cancelled, now tell me about this girl." i heard the girl next to Niall say.

"Tessa. She's really nice. i just-" Niall started but got interrupted by the girl.

"Not her, this Jenna." she said seriously.

"Oh, her, we were best friends before i got famous. We were really close. That's all, don't worry." he said nervously.

"So you weren't in love with her?"

"no." he said.

My heart sank. If he weren't in love with me, then why did he said that I was his everything the other day? And why did he protect me from Zack by risking his own life?

"So your words was just a lie?? You don't love me, you never did!?" I said to him, hurted.

"Jenna? I thought you were gone, dead." he said.

"Im not, but you would if hadn't killed Zack." I looked at the girl.

"I'm not a killer, you know. This is a kind of complicated story. You see, my boyfriend saw me and Niall at Nando's talking, he said he loved me and Zack took it like I love him too. So he tried to kill Niall after beating me up. It's wierd, he never got aggressive or anything... Anyway, he shot him once, then he said something about killing Niall the others and.. uhm, that's when I had understood Niall was still alive and i had enough. I ran into the kitchen to get a knife.."

I stopped for a while, I saw Niall looking at me with tears in his eyes. I tried holding my tears in, luckily I succeeded.

"Then I killed him. It was all defence. I've already called the police, and told them the whole story. They want to talk to you too, Niall." I said and turned to Niall.

"I'm sorry Jenna." he said.

"Why? You don't love me, then why care about me?"

"Who said that?"

"Uh, you did, like two minutes ago."

"Do you believe in everything you hear? Well, that was a lie."

"You never lie, not even for good reasons. What happened to you?"

"I changed, Jenna. People do change."

"You know, there was another reason all this happened. But I guess that has changed, that too."

"What?"

"Yeah, I talked about you all the time. At first Zack didn't realize."

"Realize what?"

I took a deep breath.

"That I wasn't truly in love with him. That there was someone else I loved more."

Nialls eyes got bigger.

"Jenna.. I'm sorry."

"Yeah, I bet you are." I said sarcastically and walked away. Niall followed me so I started to run, but he did too. He always ran faster than me.

"Jenna! Wait!"

I didn't reply.

"Jenna, please!"

I turned and saw Niall standing there.

He smiled. I smiled back automatically. He started walking towards me.

"How could you think I didn't love you? You must be a fool." he laughed.

"No, you're a fool." I replied back smiling.

He really did love me.

"Oh, come on, i'm not a fool!"

"Yes, you are. Now kiss me, you fool." I smiled.

We started lean in, but then I saw something behind him. It was a man, he had a knife.

"Watch out!" I screamed. The man attacked tried to attack us but someone behind him stopped him.

"Hey! Never touch my boyfriend, or his friends." she said and hitted him in the stomach.

She ran over to us and Niall hugged her.

"Thank you Olivia!" he said.

"Anytime." she said.

I got uncomfortable and tried to run away but I got stopped by Olivia.

"Hey, where are you going?" she said.

"Sorry.." I tried.

"I'm sorry about your boyfriend and that you had to kill him to protect you best friend. That would've been really hard for me."

"Don't worry about it. Niall, I didn't know you had a girlfriend." I said.

"Management set us up. They don't like us being singles."

"Well, luckily this man attacked us. Cause I wouldn't want to help you cheat on your girlfriend."

"What? She's not even my real girlfriend."

"Well, the fans don't think so. And I think you hurt her feelings."

Olivia smiled.

"Niall, i'm sorry, but I don't think this is gonna work out. Your eating habits has grown and I don't like you not sharing your food, or you taking mine. I'm sorry but I love my food."

We all laugh.

"Thank you Liv." Niall said and huged her.

"Anytime."

She smiles hugely and hugs me.

"Now, I'm gotta go and leave you two lovebirds alone. Remember, dont do anything you'll regret in the morning." She said and winked.

We totally got the hint and laughed.

"Now, who was that sexy lad again?" Niall joked.

"What?"

"You know, that amazingly hot, sexy and funny lad we talked about. What was his name again? Oh yeah, Niall Horan. Do you like him?" Niall joked.

"Oh, you mean that fool. No, i don't." i said sarcastically.

"What?!"

"No, i don't. Cause i love him. Even though he's really wierd." i said.

"Naw, you're the wierd one, babe."

"Never in your wildest dreams."

"That's my line."

"What?"

"Best song ever?!" he said proudly.

"Oh, right, sorry."

"You're cute when you're nervous."

"I'm not nervous!" i half shouted.

"Yes, you are, babe." he said and started leaning in.

"You're the nervous one, i'm the cool one." i said and kissed him.

I felt fireworks everywhere and butterflies in my stomach.

When we pulled away from the kiss Niall had a huge smile on his face.

"What?" i asked.

"I love you."

"I love you too."
