Druna one-shot

  It was after the second wizarding war, Luna Lovegood came back for her sixth year while Draco came back for his seventh. Both took the train to Hogwarts. While the girl found a carriage, the boy had not. Everyone was scared of him as his parents were part of the death eaters and he had to be one too, even the slytherins no longer wanted to be near him. Well, except Pansy, but he refused to sit with her as she was just far too...hyper (about him). Finally, Draco found a carriage with only two people inside: Ginny Weasley and Luna Lovegood. Draco, finding no choice, asked,

  "May I sit here?" Ginny looked at him and yelled no. Luna however, let him in. Ginny stared at her friend.

  " Luna, he's a Malfoy. He locked you up in his house remember?" 

  "Yes, but I forgive him." Draco stared at Luna, confused.

  " You do?" He asked.

  "Yes, I do. Even at the times you called me Loony." Luna smiled at him. He, somehow, smiled back. 

  "What are you doing Malfoy, she's a blood traitor, you can't be friends with her!" He thought to himself. But somehow, he didn't care anymore, he felt this new feeling in his heart, it didn't feel like anything before, not even with Pansy. 

  After a long trip, they finally reached Hogwarts. They went to the sorting ceremony and went to their tables.Luna, being a Ravenclaw, went to the the Ravenclaw while Draco went to the Slytherin table. Draco was staring at Luna while the sorting hat was doing its job. Luna noticed and smiled at him, which made Draco turn back in embarrassment. Soon, a couple of first years joined their houses and the feast began. 

  After the feast, the Ravenclaws went to their dorms, in which the password was an answer to a question. 

   "Which came first, the phoenix or the flame ?" The painting asked.

  " A circle has no beginning." The painting nodded and let them have access to their dorms. 

  The Slytherin password was " Chocolate Frogs". Everyone settled in and made friends but Draco stayed quiet as the only thing he was thinking about was none other than Luna Lovegood. 

  The next morning, the Ravenclaws and the Slytherins had Potions as their first lesson together. Draco and Luna had to sit next to each other, ad nobody wanted to sit with them, except, well, Pansy but Draco refused to sit with the annoying brat.  Draco was not really good at potions so Luna had to help him. The little moments they had at that hot morning built their friendship. 

  A month later,  Luna soon had feelings for the boy, and he was the same, but they didn't know. They both sat together in Potions, both staring at each other from time to time. Ginny noticed this, and she sighed as she looked at the two sit together during dinner, but never sharing hugs. Ginny knew she had to do something, they can't be like that forever. So, she told Luna to meet her at the forbidden forest very early in the morning. Luna of course, felt a little bit scared but agreed to do so. Ginny asked Blaine to do the same and thankfully, he did. 

  Luna went to the forbidden forest and was scared that she could not find her friend. She searched deep into the forest and soon, was lost. She panicked and sat on the ground, crying. Suddenly, a boy ran towards her, hugging her. At first, Luna was startled, she doesn't know what kind of magical hugging creatures there are. But she knew by the hair, it was Draco Malfoy. She hugged back and cried in his chest, tears wetting the clothes. 

  Soon, they were out of the forest and back to hogwarts, luckily without anyone knowing. Luna, holding hands with Draco, asked,

  " Draco, can I... be your valentine?" Draco smiled.

  " Of course Luna, of course."

                                                      ---Years later---

  "Draco Malfoy, do you take Luna Lovegood  to be your wife? Do you promise to be true to her in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love her and honor her all the days of your life?"

   "I do."

  "Luna Lovegood, do you take Draco Malfoy to be your husband? Do you promise to be true to him in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love him and honor him all the days of your life?

  " I do."

  "Then you may kiss the bride." Draco pulled Luna over and kissed her lightly on the lips. Everyone cheered and clapped, even Lucius Malfoy. Draco's parents were proud of him for finding someone proper and polite like Luna. Luna's father was more than happy to finally getting to see her wearing the white dress.  Their friends, even Harry, were so happy for them, and felt that they deserve each other. 

   A few days later, Luna and Draco decided to open up each others presents. In both of their boxes, is a vial of liquid luck potion (because they always sat next together during potions) and the label, suprisingly also the same, reads " To keep away the nargles". That's when they knew, they were truly, soulmates.
