"Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!"

"Just a little more, Mrs. Rivera. Almost there."

"I'm tired doc." Halen said, closing her eyes and leaning her tired body in the bed still gasping for air.

"You can do it, love. I know you can. We're almost there. For our baby." Edgar said to her, holding her right hand in his own hands and giving it soft kisses.

Halen raised her head and nodded to him, giving him a soft smile. "For our baby."

"Okay. One more time Mrs. Rivera. Push." The doctor told her once again.

Halen looked nervously to Edgar who gave him an encouraging smile and nod. Because of her husband's gesture, she felt relieved and obliged to follow what the doctor said.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!" She held her husband's hand tightly and gripped the bed's edge.

With one last push, her seventh child is born. Then she let sleep took over her.

----

She woke up in a different room. In their hospital room, she guessed. She squeezed her husband's hand to let him know she's already awake. He jerk up from his crouch position beside her. Then the doctor with some staff entered their room.

"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Rivera. You now have a healthy and beautiful baby girl."

The doctor gave the baby to her mother, who's crying because of the pain she'd gone through the labor. But that's forgotten when she held her daughter in her hands. She's now crying because of the joy she's feeling right now.

They thought their child's a boy. The ultrasounds results were wrong then.

She looked at her husband who's crying too. He looked affectionately to her daughter. Her first daughter. The pride of being a father only spikes higher than the feeling he had when his six boys were born. Having a daughter for the very first time out of many tries, which resulted in having many sons, is very fulfilling.

He looked up to his wife and wipe her tears. "I can't believe we finally have a girl. Maybe they're mistaken about the sex identification result in your ultrasounds. Sigh. She got your beautiful eyes. And your lips as well. Then she got most of my features. She's so lucky." He smirked and she gave him a playful glare.

"Don't start, love." He laughed at that then they both look at their daughter.

"No pain, no gain." He instantly look at his wife, then she continued talking. "I'm still sore from giving birth. But all the pain's worth it when I saw her. She's so beautiful. Just like her mama." She said while crying then laughing, her husband joined.

"Can't argue with that. What's her name?" Edgar asked while caressing his daughter's small face.

"What do you want? Do you prefer princess? Since she's the little princess in our family." Halen asked him.

"Princess's already common." He frowned then brightened up when he got an idea. "Why not Quinn?"

"Queen? As in Queen Elizabeth?" She raised an eyebrow.

"No. Quinn as in q-u-i-n-n. She's unique, so she deserves everything. And we can start giving it to her now by her name. Quinn." He called to their baby, who made a cute noise that made them laugh.

"Quinn seems to like her name. Then Quinn it is." Halen agreed to her husband. She cupped her husband's cheek with her free hand and lean her forehead to his. They both closed their eyes.
