Gone

The summer

For the rest of the summer  it went pretty much like this: my mom and I fought and her boyfriend encourages her to be more strict and to spank my brother and I more to get her point through whatever it was that day or week but she never did hit us,maybe an occasional spankin for my brother for not doing his chores after being asked many times.They constantly scolded us for bringing food and/or drinks to our rooms upstairs.One night I cut the screen of my window out to sit on the roof aaaaannnnddd since we live in apartments that wasn't the brightest idea.The maintenance man noticed from outside and put a sign on our door saying we needed to get that fixed,so of course I got ground for what had felt like the billionth time and my mom deactivated my phone and it's stayed that way ever since.By the time school was about to start up we started to argue more and more about what school I'd go to,the one I've always went to had an orchestra program but the high school up the road from us didn't but it was closer and my mom didn't have the gas to take me 20 minutes to my old school every week and of course I refused to go to the school up the road and if they did make me go I'd just skip or try to get kicked out of the school but we all knew that I was just too scared to do all that so the only solution was for me and Kevin to stay at our old house with Kevin's dad every other week so my mom could save gas and we could ride the bus to school when we were with Kevin's dad because he didn't have his license and his truck needed a fuel pump.So one day I was eating pizza and watching tv on my bed I also had a whole big glass of chocolate milk and of course since we were not aloud to bring food or drinks up stairs my brother told my mom and she came up stairs saw that Kevin wasn't making things up just to get me in trouble and started saying
"How many times do I have to tell you not to bring food and drink up here?!"
And of course I say that I wanted to watch tv so she tried to spank me but I stiffened up my legs so she couldn't flip me over to spank me and I started yelling for her to stop trying to spank my so her boyfriend came up there and his face was beet red and he started screaming at the top of his lungs
"SHE SHOULDNT BE TELLING YOU TO STOP SHE SHOULD BE SCREAMING IT!!!!!" Then he slung the whole fricken cup of chocolate milk on my and my bed some of which got on my mom and he also threw the pizza and started to walk downstairs but since I was so pissed off I got off of my chocolate milk soaked bed,drenched in
Chocolate milk and tried to go after him I didn't know what I was going to do but I sure as hell was gonna do somethin but my mom grabbed me because she knew I was fixing to do something and I got out of her hold so then she grabbed my leg and I couldn't walk and I can't remember what exactly I said but it was something along the lines of
"Walkin away like a little bitch!"
So he stared marching back up the steps and said
"Oh really?"
And proceeded to attack me he was on top of me on my bed and I was clawing him in the neck and choking him, kicking him and punching him but since my adrenaline was pumping I couldn't feel anything my mom was trying to pull him off of me while my one year old sister was screaming scared because she didn't know what was going on then I got out from under him and next thing I know I see his fist coming straight at me right then my mom finally got him off me and was holding him down so I could get up,I grabbed my sister and went straight to my great aunts house which was two doors down from my house and called my older and grown cousin to ask what to do and she demanded me to call the cops so I did and they came as my moms boyfriend tried to leave but the took everyone's statement and let him a get a few things and he left the police said they'd have to call child services since this involved me a child getting hit by a grown ass man. I took a shower to get all the sticky dried chocolate milk off me and ate and slept.
