GO MIRAE'S POV
"You really think I care!? After everything! you really think I will still care about them!?" my mom shouted right in front of me and at the moment, I wondered if she really was my mother. I really didn't know who she was as I tried hard to refrain my tears from pouring out of my eyes.
"Mom! I know you don't care about them but how about me!? I'm a girl for god's sake and do I really have to remind you that you're my bloody mother? and that this biological mother of mine legit force me to freaking live with bunches of boys!? Have you gone mad!?" I replied back to my mom nowhere near polite, to knock some sense into her head who persistently forcing me to transfer school so that I could ruin this said school; which previously handled by my dad, but now unfortunately by my mother's current enemy which she just happened to hate last two weeks, right after my father died.
Honestly, that was my first time doing that to her and I knew it was so rude, but if you ever getting forced to transfer to a new school and that school is nothing like any other school but, a school filled with a specific hormone called testosterone, will you still be a good girl and listen to your crazy mother!?
"Please Mirae, think about your father, think about us, darling. Do you really want to let them get all the fortune while we stay here get absolutely nothing. Not even a dollar? Your dad put his everything to build the school Mirae. That bastard should at least give us what we really deserve!" my mother practically cussing in front of me before she grabbed my hand, looking into my eyes hopefully.
I averted my eyes away, "What we really deserve mom? Everything's gone now. Dad's died. He is not the principal anymore. Mr.Park is." I then turned to look at her straight in the eyes, "We have no power. We have nothing now mom. There's nothing we can do."
"Yes, we have. We can do something to repay your dad." She said through her gritted teeth. "We can take revenge and ruin their family. Just like how they did to us."
"Mom, I know you're sad because of dad but do you even know what you're talking right now!? Dad died has nothing to do with them mom! What are you even talking about?" Seeing my mother crying and falling on her knees, so vulnerable like this broke my heart so bad that the tears in my eyes just rolled down my cheeks.
"He ruined us, Rae." My mother whispered, "He is the reason your father died. He was the one who supposed to attend the meeting not your father but, you know what he did? he forced your dad to go there for him because why? because he freaking wanted to celebrate his son's birthday party! If only your dad didn't attend that meeting, he would have not gotten himself into that accident!"
I knew he referred to Mr. Park and hearing this, a gush of anger shot through my heart but unlike my mother, I decided to keep it to myself. Someone needed to be strong for my mother and that someone was me.
"Mom, I don't see why I needed to transfer school have something to do with this." I told softly.
My mom took my hand and again, stared deep into my eyes with a pair of determined eyes. "You can drag him down Mirae. If your father couldn't be the principal, so is Mr. Park. They build the school together and if one of them down, the other has too."
God, what happen to my mom?
I knew she just sad because of my dead father and I knew if I refused to help her, she would do something crazy and looking at her right now also scared me. This woman was absolutely not my mother.
Someone need to be strong.
With a sigh, I bent my body down to reach her, grabbing both of her shoulder and helped her to stand up.
