#01 Kim Jinhwan

"Jagiya, wake up." A melodic voice called me.
"Urgh, 5 more minutes."
Typical, I know. Well being an idol is not easy. Hectic schedules, exhausting rehearsals, only a few hours of sleep. But you know what? Its all worth it when you see the fans' bright smile and energy. But lucky for me, my group's promotion period has finally come to an end, which means MORE SLEEP.
Oh, and we finally made it official yesterday! What, you ask? My relationship with Jinhwan, that's what! Yes, I am in a relationship with monster rookie, iKON's oldest hyung Kim Jinhwan. We've been keeping it in the shadows for two long years. Just yesterday, we went to Sajangnim and tried to negotiate the whole 'dating ban' thing and fortunately it worked. That night, the news went viral. I'm relieved now.

"If you're not gonna wake up, I'm gonna eat all the pancakes," he whispered in my ear. My eyes snapped open as I sat up quickly at the word 'pancake'. I zoomed to the kitchen hearing chuckles behind me. I sat at the dining table in the apartment we shared and dug in after saying my prayers.

As I ate the delicious, heavenly pancakes, Jinhwan took a seat in front of me and rested his chin on the palm of his hand, watching me with a small smile gracing his lips. Halfway through my meal, I (finally) noticed he wasn't eating any.

"Oppwa, why alen't chu eating(Oppa, why aren't you eating)," I asked with my mouth stuffed with pancakes.

"Chew, swallow, then talk you paboya," he laughed. My eyebrow twitched.

"Done. Why aren't you eating?"
"Hold on, you got something here."

Jinhwan leaned over the table and brushed his hand on my corner lip before pecking me shortly on the lips. My face flushed red as I covered it with my hands out of embarrassment. "Oppa!"
"You're just too cute, (Y/N)," he smiled.

"Jagiya, I'm going to take a shower first!" He called. "Ne!"

I sat on the bed, scrolling through instagram on my phone. One particular post caught my attention. It was the article about our relationship. I scrolled down and tapped on the comments section.

"This bitch! How dare she seduce our precious Jinanie!"
"What a slut."
"Get away from him."
"Leave him alone, he has a career you underrated ugly plastic!"
"Garbage"
"..."

"She's only dating him for his looks and money so her group can become famous. What an attention whore."

A lone tear escaped my eye.

Is this what people really think of me? I didn't get plastic surgery, I know I'm not nearly as pretty as the others. My feelings are sincere.

"My feelings are sincere," I mumbled as tears start streaming down my face. I stared at the comments, badmouthing me, accusing me.

All of the sudden, a hand took my phone away and back-hugged me. I tried to quickly dry my tears but he already saw it. He turned me around and pulled me into a tight hug. "It's okay, let it out." And with that, my vision gets blurry once again. He pat my back, whispering comforting words in my ear.

After calming down a bit, he pulled back and stared at me. His heart ached at the sight in front of him. My hair was a huge nest, my eyes were blood shot red, my cheeks were flushed pink as tears continue to roll. Jinhwan took his hand and wiped them, before taking my hand in his.

"Y-you know they're not *hic* t-true, ri-" "Of course, Jagiya. None of them are true. I love you. Nothing can ever change that. I love you and only you. And don't ever read them again. I don't want to see you cry, ever. Nor do I want to be the cause of it. And don't mind them, you're beautiful, inside and out," he assured me as he placed a kiss on my forehead. In a swift motion, I dived into his open arms and then and there, it feels like- no, its where I belong. I'll disregard all of those hate comments, cause haters gonna hate. The most important thing is I love him with all my heart and he knows it, and he loves me back. He fully trusts me and I'm thankful for that. I love him, people. I love Kim Jinhwan with all my heart.

"Oppa." "Hm?" "Saranghae." "Nado."
He kissed me. And even after all the other forms of affection, it still gives me butterflies in my stomach and I swear, everytime, sparks flew.
