The moment I realized that our dad was dead.Was when Starlin and I are finally free of having to deal with are dad.Because, are mom died in a car accident luckily both of us where not in the car.I was 15 years old and Starlin was 14 when it happened to are mom that was when dad started to abuse us.I asked the police officer what are we going to do ? He said don't you kids have any relatives nearby.

I say no sir, we have no relatives around here but I do have a boyfriend that lives next door his name is Shepard pledge.I could go and get him if you want officer.The officer said it was fine with me if you go and get him.I turn to Starlin and say I will be right back buddy you stay here with the nice police officer.I'm going to get Shepard, I will be back I promise you.
