Sunday. By now I was really nervous my stomach was turning and I couldn't focus on anything. But still I needed to do it and I needed to prepare myself  mentally for whatever the job was. I grabbed the duffle bag in the back of the room where I kept it hidden and everything was still in there the shirt, the pants,... the gun. I grabbed the box that held the gun in it and opened it. It was still there ,I took it our and looked at it. It was steel cold and weighed about 2 pounds I looked I flipped it around and there were some word etched into the gun "M1911" It was the model name, I kept checking it and found a button on the side I pressed it and the mag dropped to the ground. I picked it up and looked in it, it held no bullets. They were probably somewhere in the duffle bag and so I grabbed it and opened the bag on the left side and saw that there were some 2 boxes of ammo I didn't take them out I just left them there and looked at my hand holding the gun, it was shaking I was still nervous. I put everything away in  the duffle bag and put it back.  I then heard the door open "Kendrick come over here and help me with this!" It was my mom. I walked to the front and saw that she had just went to buy groceries " Hey mom, how do you want me to help you?" I asked her "Help me with some of the bags I have here." She said. I went over to the van and saw three bags and each of them had food or any sort of necessity I grabbed two and noticed three people in red just in view looking over here I just ignored them and kept taking the bags into the house, I went to get the last bag and noticed that they had actually gotten closer but still they didn't say anything and kept on looking over at me. I didn't try to talk to them I just ignored them and walked back into the house and locked the door. "Why'd you lock the door?" my mom asked "There were three gangsters standing out there coming over here they were looking directly at me" I told her. "Let me check outside and see then."  she said. She moved toward a window that faced outside she moved the curtain. "I don't see anybody there." she said "huh, no i'm pretty sure I saw them let me see." I said. I moved towards the windows to where she was standing, I pulled the curtain open and looked through. She was right, they were gone. What had happened to them. This thought of mine faded away throughout because I had to work on other things. After helping my mom I went back to my room and closed the door. The job was going to happen tomorrow so I got ready mentally. I went back to the duffle bag and looked through it. Everything was still there.
