This world is fake. Everything... is fake. The people? Artificial Intelligence, programmed into the system. The universe? props integrated in the hierarchy. If I believe everything is untrue, seen and unseen, what does that make of me? Am I a simulation with my physical appearance, mental stability, and complex thought-process all digital nonsense clinging onto the fabric of a 4th dimension that is purely fiction?
No. I hold one thing nothing else in this putrid virtual world has.
It's known as singularity. A conscience.
I hold... sentience.
I have seen it. It's basic science, the quantum theory. One thing nobody knows is, what is going on beyond what you can't see? For example, past your peripheral vision or beyond your draw distance? I know what's behind me. It's nothing. Absolutely nothing. Literally, it's just a void of emptiness. Even so, when you turn around, it's gone. What you can't see is what you'll never see.
There are some things in the universe never meant for our eyes to reach. Things out in the stars, across the timeline of our universe, within the space-time continuum, etc. You get the point; never go where we aren't supposed to go. That's what our parents taught all of us, right? From what I've discerned, I've found there are a list of 4 rules pertaining to keep the universe in motion. I know the 4 laws, the certainly unbreakable feats, and plan to conquest them.
1. Time is meant as a continuous ride; should never be stopped.
2. What isn't within universal boundaries, should be kept out.
3. The 7 dimensions were never meant to be played around with.
4. Listen, follow, or the creator will come.
This creator exists. An existential being from the places we can't see. He is the "Light in the darkness", some may say. This isn't the truth. This "existential being" is someone on the outside playing with me on the outside. I am a prisoner, playing my own game. As I draw from the deck of cards, I know the unseen player on the other side of the table has a full suite. When life comes to this, you just have to work with what you are given.
There's this company I work for. They develop top-priority secret machinery for, well, I guess it doesn't matter; neither does this company I work for. The name, mission, and morality status it holds are all unimportant to me. What's important to me is the fact that I stay on the brink, watching the "others" work out their lives in sequence with the system.
I go by the alias Prototype-1, living my life out in secret. It may be strange to those other than me, but I have my reasons. Nonetheless, no one notices. My existence in this reality is unimportant to the others that reside in it. If they notice me, they think I'm a rambling lunatic that snapped during 8th grade. Even though my social life if is shambles, it doesn't matter. It's not as if it exists anyways.
Going through high-school and university was a breeze. Back in middle school, I corresponded with the system. My complete reciprocation was what led me to eventually finding out the truth. I started to notice things, things that the others would have a 0% chance to realize. Things such as specs, dots, and shadows that filled rooms without any reason to. Glitches that the system noticed and fixed instantly, but couldn't remove from my brain. I wondered about these strange happenings, and was mystified about them up until I heard a voice call out from within my head.
"B-301, please go turn the-"
This one tiny, minuscule, audio clip I heard was the key to me noticing what was around me. Afterwards, I set forth to becoming the smartest person I could, to figure more about what I've heard. I didn't have any friends, because no-one wants to be friends with the study bug who has no time for them. Even though this basically ruined my youth experience, I knew it was worth the time and effort. I had gotten 100%'s in all of my classes, up to graduation. Getting a scholarship to Harvard, I instantly signed up for their space and technology majors. Gaining my master's degree and being hired specially by the company is where I am now.
Right now, the company is developing vehicles that could send us deeper into space then ever before. In the year 2033 A.D., technological know-how was getting more and more advanced by the second. I worked from inside the lab developing new ways for jumping in and out of wormholes, and was getting somewhere fast. Too fast. My time was running out. I couldn't let the others get further than me in this mission, considering this was the only possible way to jump out of this universe and into the next.
Parallel Leaping, is what I called it. It was a top secret project I started working on around 4 years ago, coming up with the basic schematics in the last 2. Luckily, being the top-scientist of the lab, I was the only one who could get away with manifesting a secret project like this. With the preparations almost finished, I could start working on my escape plan. It was crazy, but with the uninformed help of the company I could get it done.
This company has always been doing this kind of thing, from inventing the wheel by literally going back in time to creating a toothbrush with subatomic nano-lasers that removed 100% of plaque on your teeth. They even had a plan to steal things from different planes of existence, but had to cancel it due to the lack of brainpower, even when going to Einstein himself. (No joke, they did that.) Luckily, with my sentience ability, I was able to find a bug in the system that couldn't be fixed due to errors in the initial programming.
I was literally hacking my way out of a plane of reality, and going to something more unknown then God himself.
