Chapter 3

(still Caleb's POV)
I've always knew Amanda had a crush on me! She ruined what I had planned with Liv. She run up to me, hugged me and told me she "missed me", but, I don't ever talk to her! I'm so mad. I don't think I WILL ever talk to her.
Liv ran away, almost in tears. Which is kind of a good sign for me, that means she does have feelings for me. but no she probably thinks I hate her. :( How can I fix this? I don't think She'll understand what really happened. UGH😩
Liv's Pov;
When Caleb pulled me aside, I got REALLLLLLY excited! I thought he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend. But, instead he just wanted to make me feel bad. I always thought Caleb was nice, but instead it turned out he's a jerk face. I was just about to say yes, even though he never asked me anything, but HE HUGGED AMANDA RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! Like he knew I liked him. I ran away trying so hard not to cry.
I caught up with Annie, and of course she asked me what was wrong. I always loved how nice she is to me. It told her a straight lie.
"Oh... I um... I fell walking over here, and... it hurt really bad. But it was kind of funny!"
"Oh...." Annie said as if she knew I was lying,
"I hope you don't fall next time you walk." She said having a little, yet nervous laugh. She's on to me. She has got to be on to me. We walked back out into the gym and she told me that she had to go to bars, but I had had to go to beam. Before she left, she said something to me.
"Text me after Gym, Or FaceTime works. Bye see ya soon!"
"See ya." I replied trying to sound all normal again.

Later, After Gym....
I almost "forgot" to text Annie. But I couldn't lie to her anymore. If I did, I'd tell her I forgot about texting you, I had some school to finish up. Annie has been so nice to me, there was no reason to lie, so I FaceTimed her. I figured it'd be better and a little nicer that typing.

💎Well... you know I've always had a crush on Caleb... he pulled me aside to talk and the hugged Amanda right in front of me! like it was planned!
By now Liv is sobbing.
💐 Alright, Liv, I'll talk to Caleb, I'll tell you what he's says and give him the business if he needs it.
💎Alright Annie, thank you.
I say giggle when I say "Alright Annie" and sniffle at the same time wiping my tears.
💐Bye Liv, Moms calling me for din din. Talk tomorrow?

Annie POV;
I'm about to go talk to Caleb, with Liv secretly on the phone so I wouldn't have to repeat what he said, but mommy called us down for dinner. I had to hang up on Liv, which I was planning on talking longer than what we did but, we'll talk tomorrow.
Dinner was over so I went to Caleb's room to talk.
"Caleb! I thought you and Amanda weren't dating!" I accidentally blurted out.😬 covering my mouth.
"W- We aren't. Why would you say that... oh... never mind. Did Liv tell you?"
"Yeah... so that wasn't planned right?"
"No I was going to ask Liv to be my girlfriend, but stupid Amanda had to ruin it!"
"Good I wanted to make sure you didn't purposely hurt Liv. Why don't you try talking to her again tomorrow when she comes over? Then Amanda won't be there."
"Okay. I'll talk to her tomorrow. Do you wanna give me her number though, no questions asked?"
"Sure... bu-wa-uhmmm... never mind no question, Bye Caleb"

Caleb's POV;
So now that I have Liv's number, I can text her, but she won't know it's me. She doesn't have me in her contacts yet. So it'll be like a mystery! Perfect I can't wait!
