Chapter 5

I look around in the kitchen which has marble topped cabinets and counters. On the walls is a color of a lagoon blue with a tan color on the borders of the walls. I turn my head to the table and see a beautiful blue tint on it with a golden border.

"Food is ready!" Crystal says as she walks over to the blue table with two plates of Mac and cheese.

"Looks delish!" I say as I sniff my plate as I grab my fork and stick it in the Mac and cheese.

"So...what do you think if I can invite some of my friends over Pixie?" She surprisingly says as I stick the fork in my mouth and eat the Mac and cheese.

"Sure! Who?" I ask as she stars at me and grabs her plate and goes to the sink.

"Well...I was thinking about Jak-" she starts as I start to talk.

"Wait...let me guess....Jake?" I say as I nervously lower my head to my plate. Crystal continues talking again.

"Ya. Is something wrong?" She asks and I suddenly feel a quick shiver down my spine.

"Well...nothing it's fine." I say and look at Crystal which has a plate in her hand as she walk over to a curtain cabinet.

"Alright so Jake, Kandie, Nelie, Jackso-" "Jackson?!" I exclaim as I interrupt Crystal, "You already know I like him!"

"That's why I'm inviting him!" She exclaims with enough excitement coming out of her voice.

Suddenly I hear crying in one of the cribs so I walk into the living room and then to the curtain one. It was the pink one, which has Lucy in it. So that means she's awake.

"Is Rose okay?" Crystal asks and walks up to me.

"I need to change her, but go on. I'm listening!" I say as I lift Lucy up and set her on the couch.

" Jackson, and Nicky." She says as I finish changing Lucy which has a sweet smile on her face.

"Alright sounds good to me!" I say as I walk upstairs and sit on the bed.

I lay down and close my eyes until the party starts.
