Fall To Pieces

Prologue

"Trunks, Goten wait for me I'll be out soon!" A young Star yelled out to her younger brother and her bestfriend. Chi-Chi held her young daughter in her lap to put her long hair up. "Mommy do you really have to put my hair up?" She asked in a whiney tone. "Yes now sit still." Star did what she was told not ready to disobey her mother's stern voice. Soon after she could go play with the boys, diving into the forest area around her home.

"Look what I can do!" She exclaimed towards the two boys, being a show off. She hung upside down on a tree branch that was fairly high off the ground. Both boys looked to eachother before climbing up with her. Trunks to make sure she didn't fall, and goten to follow his big sistercand do the cool things she did. It was fun for the kids, until the wind blew hard onto the tree causing the tree to sway lightly. "We should proably get back to your guys' house before the storm starts." Goten agreed with Trunks and climbed out of the tree. Both boys looked up to Star who was in no hurry to get off.

"Come on big sis, mom will be angry if we stay out." "Yeah your mom will yell at us if ypu get hurt." "I won't get hurt, besides I know," she wasn't able to finish her sentence as the tree branch snapped from lightning that split the tree. Before Star knew it she was falling and there was a loud thump. The boys rushed towards her as she cried and-

"Beep! Beep! Beep!"

With a quick jolt a 16 year old Star fell out of her bed, not able to finish the dream of her 7 year old past. A knock at the door interupted her from smashing her alarmclock to bits. "Star, are you up? You might want to hurry downstairs before dad and Goten eat all the food," Gohan's voice trailed out.

Little did Star know that today would turn her world upside down and throw her into an emotional mess. Just maybe she is strong enough to face this.
