~Do you hide behind a smile?

And do not let them see

Behind the mask of grins

and innate ecsatcy.

I wear a bind upon my finger

Not for love or simple fact

Is it cowardly to keep it

Or cowardice that holds me back?

From pale, limp hands i took it

And placed it on my own

Couldn't bare to close the windows

Or chisel any stones

And still it sits there waiting

Silver blinking back at me

Staring, Watching, Waiting

Waiting for its cease.

Waiting always waiting

For it's reclaim to me

And still to hide

behind the mask

still laughing

always crying

always dying many times

For there's silver that the grey still wants

And who am I to hide

It blinking back at me

Never losing its pale shine.
