27. A Promise To Keep

It had been 6 months since your trip to Kota Kinabalu. Since then you had never received texts from Seokjin, or even Danial. You kept missing Jin and the boys, but all you ever do was keep your feelings to yourself. The memories of being with the boys were still fresh in the back of your mind.

BTS had just released their comeback album successfully. Their popularity rose up and won so many awards that you were really proud of them. Eventually it hurted you so much to keep waiting for them without them remembering you. And so you stopped watching them on social medias and tv. Basically you stopped caring about them at all.

"Is he really going to keep his promised?" You sighed and took a deep breath, staring at your phone.

Bored, you installed Twitter on your smartphone and registered an account. The first thing you searched was of course-- BTS, as your curiousity would not go away.

"How are you, oppa?" You mumbled, trying to hold back your tears. You scrolled down their tweets and noticed that they were using this weird "DK" hashtag that pretty much bothered you.

"Who is this DK?" You frowned, clicking on the hashtag and found out that hashtag had been number 3 in the trending list for a week. There were countless fans tweeting about the hashtag. Some thought that it was the trailer for BTS's next album. Some thought a bitch came up to BTS and flirted them when they were on their summer trip.

You heaved a deep sigh again, thinking who this DK might be. Were they forgetting you already? Suddenly, you stood up out of shock when you thought that DK might be the short form of Deandra Kim, your name!

"Ah impossible!" You threw your smartphone onto your bed and stormed out of your room, disappointed that it had been 6 long tiring months but you still had not heard from them.

Walking straight to the kitchen to get something to drink, your 19 years old little brother Alex noticed that you were frowning and followed you from behind.

"Sis, are you having period pain?" Alex chuckled. You pinched his cheeks until he hissed in pain. Alex brushed your hands off his red cheeks and pouted his lips.

"Did Danial dump you then? Are you okay?" He asked again. You turned to him and held his face with your small hands.

"Alex, I am okay. First, Danial and I are over for a long, long time ago. Second, stop asking me weird questions and stop following me around. You're 19 now, not 5 anymore. So act like your age. Get it?" You patted his head and smile sarcastically.
