It was almost ni8 by now and then mukti and manik returned...
Manik: guys u go home must be tired..
And alya with cavya left...
Mukti: nandu yeh soup pe lo...
Nandini: mukti...
She made a bad face... To which manik chuckled...
Manik: no tantrums nandini u have to have it...
Both of them together made her have soup and then have her medicines.... Then due to heavy dose of medicine she dozed off..
After a while...
Manik: mukti u sleep I will look after her..
Mukti: but manik..
Manik: mukti..
Mukti: OK I won't sleep now I bring coffee....
Manik nodded..
Mukti left..
Just then manik stared at nandini... And he noticed frowns on her face... She started murmuring.. Manik went close to her to hear what is she saying.. He heard my baby.... Amma... Harshad killed amma....
Manik patted her cheeks..
Manik: nandini get up it all good here everything.... Open ur eyes...
Nandini opened her eyes and got up with a jerk she started crying and said amma appa...
Manik hugged her And patted her head...
Manik: shh.. It ok just a bad dream....
Just then mukti came and she rushed to nandini keeping coffee near the table... Nandini broke hug and hugged mukti tightly....mukti calmed her down and nandini dozed off in mukti's embrace....
Manik: she is changed...
Mukti: tu soch b nai sakta k nandu kitni change hui hai...
Manik: I just got shocked when I saw her in the college.. Saree and all..
Mukti: u went college? y?
Manik: oh yeah I forgot to tell u I am having my first concert there at the college she is working.... We are performing together....
Mukti: now that's a big news..
Manik: y didn't u guys inform me that she got married and all..
Mukti: we thought not to hurt u... U know what I mean..
Manik nodded in understanding... They had coffee and after a while both of them lied on the couches the room had two couches.... Manik was not asleep yet.. He was remembering the old memories...
How they met.. How fab5 was formed how nandini became his best friend and how they got separated.... Then he remembered how he saw her today... He noticed a drastic change a fully modern girl wearing shots and skirts one piece turned into whole Indian outfit... His strong girl was a weak one now... His hope maker had lost hope in her life.. His peace maker had lost peace of her life.... He promised to himself that he will bring that nandini back... His nandini who was carefree... leaving all pain besides she used to smile....
Manik: thought to himself...
I will get u back nandini... This time I won't let u go..... And I won't let u give up ur hopes... This time u and me will be us..... But first I need to sort out ur problems....
Thinking all this he dozed off.....

Nandini: I so wanna smile but u know mukti my messed up life doesn't allow me to do so.....
Just then manik got up....
Manik: good morning guys..... How r u feeling nandu.....
Nandini: better.......
Mukti: u guys jeep talking I will get coffee
Nandini: for me too.....
Mukti nodded and left.......
Manik: vaise tum kabse itni weak ho gai???

Manik: stop acting u know what I mean........

And with that he came sat on her bed
Nandini: scul days??? Ahh... They were fun manik....
Manik: u remember ur first day in the scul.....
Nandini: how can I forget..... U guys bullied me soo much and next day when alya was back she fought with u all for bullying me....
Manik: that was epic......
Nandini: u remember our exam times???
Manik: ahh u book worm......
Nandini: ohhh FYI mai book worm thi isiliye u passed out warns aaj b the manik malhotra would have been in 4th class....
Manik: hmm... I second that.... How lucky was I to sit behind u for my every exam.....

Manik: come join us we were talking about our scul days.....

Nandini took her clothes and went to fresh up.....
