Layla's P.O.V.
I woke up and I remembered we were moving across the country. I didn't understand why though. That was one of those questions I asked over and over again. "Mom why do we have to move? I like it back in Virginia with all my friends." I asked thinking that they wouldn't yell at me for even talking. "Layla, what did I just say to you an hour and a half ago?! Don't talk or go to sleep!!!" She started to raise her voice.
I know what your thinking. It's short but this is just the first part because I assure you that there will only be a few like this. I'm trying to think about how to word out how this all happened. I'm starting to lose my memory of her and I assure you that all of you will cry at least once before the end of my book. I love you all. Here comes the first ACTUAL chapter.
