It was a wet and damp evening. At the bakery, Marinette and her family just finished their food.
"Mum, I'm going to go to my room and get ready for bed." Marinette smiled as she skipped up the stairs.
"Okay." Her mum replied, but Marinette was already in her room.
When Marinette finished changing, she a heard a tap on her glass balcony door.
"Who is it?" She asked, folding up her clothes, however she didn't turn around.
"Purr, please let me in." She heard 'someone' say.
"Huh?" She thought, as she turned around.
She was... weirded out that... Cat Noir was at her house!
"What...? Why...? I'm... I'm... confused!" Marinette thought.
Marinette let him in.
"I need to ask you something..."
'Cat Noir' trailed off.
"Me?" Marinette said, looking around, as if there were other people in the room.
"C...c...can y-you be my... um... best friend?" He said, but she was expecting him to say 'girlfriend' instead of 'best friend'.
"Don't worry, I know you and Ladybug are together... you don't want anything else... just a friend..." Marinette cried softly.
"Oh..." Cat Noir said as looked at the baby pink rug he was standing on, "I didn't know you felt that way..."
No words... I'm speechless... this is the best piece of work I've ever done on here...
