"Who the hell would park there?" I growl. A beastly black camaro, that looks like its from a fast and furious movie, sits perfectly diagonal in front of my car and parallel with the curb, boxing me into my parking spot. My reflexion glares back at me in the blemish free paint as I move past it.

"Nice car." A beautiful girl appears behind me with a smile on her face and her arms crossed over her chest. Her dark eyes study me before she advances, circling my mustang.

"Thanks." I croak. Her eyes sweep over the blue paint and chrome rims, "I'm Danny." My voice is wobbly as she glances up at me. She has that set-the-whole-fücking-world-on-fire look in her eyes.

"Beth," She says effortlessly, "How much did you pay for it?" She asks casually. I shift my weight uncomfortable with the question. I don't feel like giving a stranger my life story to explain why my father bought me a $63,000 car as an apology.

"You into cars?" I try to change the subject, leaning against my door but she rolls her eyes,

"I am, but I'm not into new kids stealing my parking spots." She drawls, throwing me a smirk over her shoulder as she climbs into the beastly black car.
