Vlogging With Harry Styles

My name is Georgia Brookes, I am just your average eighteen year old girl – nothing special about me. Got a camera that I sometimes talk to; upload it to this site where a bunch of people view it.

Haven’t got it yet? Okay, well, I am a youtuber; vlogger to be exact. People seem to find my life interesting, and of course, I feel obliged to share it with everyone.

I have a little over half a million subscribers on youtube, so you can say I am quite popular; although, I don’t like using that term.

So anyway, I know you are getting bored so I am just going to cut to the chase... My best friend is Harry Styles.

Yup, you heard me right. Harry Edward Styles, that one curly haired freak from the band One Direction.

I have known him as long as I can remember, my mother and Anne where close friends, and so when I was a young child my mother would bring me over to the Styles’ household and I would play with Harry and Gemma.

We went to school together, people called us inseparable, which was annoying. Our parents always teased us saying ‘oh you will get married and have kids one day’ blah blah blah. 

We went up to high school together; it wasn’t like those American movies make it out to be. Bunch of lies they show, getting us scared for nothing. Harry auditioned for the X Factor, he made it, of course. We have always been close, but people have been oblivious to our friendship. We have been spotted together a few times, but it is always ‘Harry meeting a fan’ or something like that.

Well, it was like that, until Harry decided he would bring me along on tour with the rest of the band; across America for 9 weeks.

At first I was like “Dude, you do know I have a life. You can’t just whisk me off to America.” But after some thought, I agreed. I had finished school; youtube was giving me a good income as well as my song writing. My parents seemed pretty chilled about it, they said it would be good for me to ‘see the world while I am young’. 

So yeah, I’m going to be vlogging with Harry Styles and the rest of the crew for 9 weeks.

First stop, Mexico City.
