Purpose

Payback // 4

Yesterday, wasn't fun but you know what it's a new day, I'm ready for a fresh start and today I don't have a dick on my face, added bonus! Its Wednesday and its currently lunch, I see Hayes flirting with Mia Jones, which makes my blood boil. 

"Ugh he's such a pig!"

"Geez calm down, where did that come from." Sophie says

"I love how he can just get anything he wants, so easily. I'll be back." I say to Sophie

"Where are you going."

"You'll see." I say, a smirk forming on my face

Today I was prepared. You see I was going to do like a smack cam thing and embarrass Hayes in front of everyone, so I brought a can of whipped cream, but it came over me. What if I drench him in water first? Eh why not?

I run to the change rooms and grab one of those bucket things where you put all of the drink bottles in. I run to the bath room and fill it up with water. I walk outside again and see Hayes, still flirting with Mia. I grab my can of cream and run over to Hayes. I look around for any teachers. Mia shoots me a strange look, causing Hayes to turn around. I pick up my bucket and poor the water all over him. He gasps in horror, I cover my hand in whipped cream and smack him in the face, hard.

"Jesus, what the hell is wrong with you!" He screams

"I could ask you the same thing."

And with that I walk back over to Sophie, who is killing her self laughing.

"Oh my gosh look." Sophie points in the direction of Hayes.

I look back and see Hayes getting in trouble by Mrs Adams. When Mrs Adams turns around to walk away Hayes snaps his head towards me, he sticks up his middle finger and I just blow him a kiss. Hayes clenches his fists and runs to the bathroom.  

I take one last bite of my sandwich and put my container back in my bag. For something to do I I think I'm going to see how Hayes is going.

"I'll see you after lunch." I say to Sophie

"Okay, bye."

I walk over to the bathrooms i see Hayes talking to Chase, Hayes is still soaking wet. Hayes snaps his head in my direction and a wicked smile grows on his face. I am completely shocked when I see Haye running for me, I turn the other way and start to run away. It doesn't take long before he catches me, he pulls me into a hug, a rather uncomfortable one. The water from his clothes transfer on to mine however I find myself smiling at his touch.

"So you do have a crush on me." Hayes says, completely ruining the moment

"Shut up, you wish." I say punching him in the chest

"I'll get you back for this." 

"I'm sure you will."

I push him away slightly and walk off in another direction.

My mom wasn't going to be home tonight because she had to do something for work. surprise, surprise. I hear someone knock at my door, Run to the door and open it, revealing a dry Hayes.

"Thank you so much for inviting me over." H says, barging in

"Um I didn't."

"What ever."

I close the door and walk into my living room, where Hayes has already made himself quite comfortable. Hayes gives me a cheesy smile and I roll my eyes at him. 

"Hey is it ok if Chase and Ethan come over."

Ethan Jarvis, one of the jocks at our school alongside Chase Cobain. Ethan is the guy at school everyone wants to date, but Hayes might be taking his place.  Ethan has a few freckles scattered over his face, his deep, chocolate  brown eyes and his perfect brown hair add to his hotness and plus he has the cutest dimples.

"Ava!" Hayes snaps me out of my train of thought.

"Hayes, you can't just invite people to my house that I don't even know."

"You'll get to know them," Hayes protests "Whoops, too late they're already on their way."

"Hayes, i hate you."

"Aw, I love you to cupcake." Hayes says nonchalantly, not even looking up from his phone.

He is so annoying. Too annoying.

With that thought I hear my doorbell

"Hayes did you invite them over before asking me?"

"Yep. I'll get it."

"yes you will."

Hayes walks to get the door, I run upstairs to make sure I look fine, I make a few adjustments before walking downstairs again.

"And you are?" Chase asks me, flirtatiously

"Ava, we go to the same school."

"Oh, your Ava Parks, right?"

"That's me."

"Hi, I'm Ethan." 

"Yeah, I know." I say

"Oh, well nice to meet you." Ethan says

The four of us walk into my living room again.

The four of us were getting to know each other a little better, and surprisingly I had a lot of fun. Ethan, Chase and Hayes decided they wanted to watch a movie so I guess I have to as well. Chase and Ethan share a lounge and Hayes and I share one. I grab a blanket and sit back down on the couch.

"Hey give me some." Hayes says, pulling the blanket over his legs. But when he does my legs get uncovered.

"Excuse me." I say

"Drama queen." Hayes says, slightly laughing

Hayes grabs my legs and puts them on his lap forcing me to lie down, so now my legs are covered by the blanket again.

Half way through the movie I see Hayes leaning down towards my face and I give him a shocked look.

"I'm not going to kiss you, idiot."

I let out a nervous laugh but let him continue.

"Chase, Ethan and I as well as a few other people are getting together and I was wondering if you wanted to come."

"When?"

"Friday."

"Ok sure, unless your just pulling some stupid joke on me."

"I guess you'll just have to trust me."
