Rose clicked her fingers in front of Albus' face trying to get him back to reality, Albus was staring at Natalie open mouthed, he has never seen anyone so beautiful. Then Albus shook his head and came back to reality while blushing vigorously, "Sorry", Said Albus' blushing even more, If possible.
Right as he said this the compartment door opened and James, Albus' older brother peeked his head inside, "Hey Guys! I just came to let you know that we'll be arriving at Hogwarts in about 30 minutes", "Thanks James", Replied Albus. Then Rose and Natalie stepped outside and Scorpius and Albus got changed into their Hogwarts robes, "Oh Hey, Scorpius, I never asked, but what is your last name?", Scorpius blushed and shyly said, "I-I'm a Malfoy..", then Albus spinned around so fast he almost broke his neck, "You're a Malfoy?", "Yes..", right as Albus was going to say something Rose and Natalie walked back into the compartment.
"Albus? Are you alright?", asked Rose, looking concerned, "Y-yea I'm fine", Albus replied. Then suddenly Albus noticed Scorpius was blushing almost the same colour of as a tomato. "Scorpius?", Scorpius then said "I'm a Malfoy", and as he said this Rose looked stunned.
"Well that is a surprise", said Natalie. "But you can't be a Malfoy... you're too nice!" Replied Rose, Scorpius blushed, "Thank you" he muttered. "Your welcome" replied Rose, and then Scorpius noticed he was staring at Rose and when he realised he looked away.
When they arrived to Hogsmeade station they heard a booming voice coming from the other end of the station, "First years! First years this way!" Albus, Natalie, Rose and Scorpius hopped off of the train and walked towards the voice, when they got closer they relised it was Hagrid, "Hi Hagrid!" said Rose excitedly. "Ello Rose" replied Hagrid, then after all the first years arrived they set off on the boats headed toward Hogwarts.
In the boats they got a good view of how big the castle really was from on the boats, "Woah" said Albus, "Its Huge". "How will we ever learn our way around?" asked Scorpius, "Maybe there's a map?" replied Natalie, "Dad said something about a map" said Albus "He said it was the Marauders Map or something", Rose squealed in excitement, "We're here!" She yelled in excitement. But then Albus remembered about the sorting, what if I am sorted in to Slytherin, he thought. He tried to get this thought out of his mind, he tried to focus on getting off of the boat and up to the castle in front of him.
When Albus, Natalie, Rose and Scorpius got off of the boats they walked up to the castle and were greeted by a tall stern looking witch but then she smiled and her face changed completely and she looked kind and then she spoke, "Welcome First Years to Hogwarts! My name is Professor McGonagall and I am the Head Mistress here at the school, You will be sorted into your houses shortly." There it was again, sorting into houses, Albus got that thought again of being sorted into houses.
Professor McGonagall walked back to the First Years, "Alright! First Years this way! Its time for your sorting!" All the First Years were terrified especially Albus, and then there it was, the sorting hat, sitting on top a three legged stool, and as soon they walked in the room the first person was being called up to the hat, "Abe, Henry" and almost as it touch Henry Abe's head the hat yelled out "Ravenclaw!"and a few more people were called up, and it felt as if it was really quick but then, "Malfoy, Scorpius", Scorpius went up to the hat extremely nervously and put the had on his head.
"Hmm, A Malfoy I see, should put you in Slytherin, but no, you have courage and cleverness, maybe ravenclaw, no I see now, better be, Gryffindor!", everyone froze, even Professor McGonagall stood there shocked, but then Scorpius started walking over to the Gryffindor table and Professor McGonagall started to clap, then the whole Gryffindor table started to applaud him, then the next thing Albus knew, "Potter, Albus", Albus walked up to the stool nervously and put the hat on his head, "Hmm, A Potter I see, Of Course its got to be, Gryffindor!", Albus' stressed was relived as he walked over the the Gryffindor table.
When Albus sat down opposite Scorpius, Scorpius pointed to the stool, sitting there was the beautiful girl he had met on the train, "Oh a Longbottom I see, you have cleverness, kindness, but one stands out over all, you have courage, better be, Gryffindor!", Gryffidor clapped as Natalie came and sat next to Albus.
Meanwhile, Rose was sitting on the stool and almost as soon as the hat touched her head the hat yelled out, "Gryffindor!", Rose looked relived and sat next to Scorpius.
The next thing the four new Gryffindors knew, all the golden plates and cups were filled with delicious food and drinks, they ate rapidly because they were straved from all that happened on their first day, once they had finished stuffing themselves with food James walked over, "Well look who we have here, the 3 other nerds that were on the train with my lil' bro", "Oi, they aren't nerds, they're my friends" replied Albus looking at his brother angrily, "If you say so, but anyway we have to head up to Gryffindor tower now, follow me everyone!", "Don't mind him", Albus said to his friends, "He's a Prefect, he's always like this", Albus rolled his eyes.
When the four got up to Gryffindor tower they sat in the beautiful, comfy, scarlet red couches in front of the fireplace, "Why don't we get to know each other more?" Asked Rose, "That sounds like a good idea!" Replied Natalie excitedly, "Okay.... Well, My name is Albus, Serverus, Potter and my parents are, Harry and Ginny Potter", Scorpius looked surprised, "Scorpius? What's wrong?", "Nothing, Nothing, I'm still surprised that I was put into Gryffindor", "Yea, that is surprising, No Offense, but I thought you'd be in Slytherin like the rest of your family", "So did I, but my father told me that he regretted everything he did to your father, Albus", "Well that's a big surprise!" Natalie said excitedly, She seems excited all the time? Is that normal? Thought Albus. "Oh my goodness look at the time!" It was half past 12 in the morning, they had been talking for over 2 hours, "I think we should go to bed, we have a big day tomorrow", "Only you would say that Rose, Only You".
And with that, Rose, Natalie, Scorpius and Albus went up into the dorms and fell asleep instantly.
