(Emma's POV)
Today is going to be awesome! I can just feel it in my bones. Today is the day where i finally get to take a helicopter trip with my all time crush and best friend, Jake!
I know I've been on trips with him before but this one seems to be the most exciting.
I stand there staring at myself in the mirror. I'm wearing a black crop top and dark skinny jeans with a white cardigan; just when i think i look perfectly fine i take a look at my hair and that's when i frantically look for a brush to tame my naturally strait orange hair.
Once I'm finally ready I sit down on my bed and wait till Jake gets here. I stare around my room in till my eyes meet a picture of me and Jake on our last trip together. I cant help but smile as i look at his blue gray eyes and his dark chestnut hair ,that is, in till i take a look at the picture of me beside him and my smile fades a little. Ill admit it I'm not pretty at all. I don't know what my friends see in me when they have the need to tell me I'm pretty; all i see is a tan freckled girl with boring green eyes and even tho I'm not fat I'm not exactly skinny either...
(Jake's POV)
I lean against the car door as my mom slows down in front of Emma's house. I give her a quick hug and kiss on the cheek and i take my bags out of the trunk. I make my way to the front of the door and before i even knock Emma opens the door and quickly embraces me in a hug. (She has no idea how much I enjoy having her in my embrace and how much I'm going to enjoy this trip.) I quickly hug her back and whisper into her ear " you look beautiful today Emma."
I don't know why but they just tumbled out of my mouth before i had any control but i meant every word, becuase she did look beautiful.
(Emma's POV)
"You look beautiful today Emma" are the first words i hear as i embrace him in a hug and i cant help but blush. He always finds a way to make me smile. I gently pull away from the hug and i notice that he is looking back at me with his gorgeous eyes and i cant help but wonder What if he actually does like me. But quickly forget about it becuase i know it will never happen.
We head up stairs and he quickly sits on my side of the bed and I cant help but laugh. "That's my side. get of!"
"Or what" he says, as a playful grin is now visible on his face.
" Or I'll push you of"
"I'd like to see you try"
And just like that i quickly jump towards him only to find him flair his arms open and embracing me in a hug bear hug.
(Jakes POV)
She quickly squeals as i hug her tight not letting her go and she starts to hit my arms lightly in till a knock on the door startles us both. I quickly let her go and she immediately starts to blush. Her mom walks in with a huge grin on her face. " I just wanted to let you know we are leaving in twenty minutes." And she quickly leaves us alone in Emma's room
