The gems had just returned from a mission, "AMETHYST," yelled Pearl,"I told you not to take ANYTHING from our mission!" "Chill, it's not dangerous" Garnet grabs the ore Amethyst is holding and walks over to the warp pad with it. "Hey," Amethyst yells,"Give that back it's mine!" Garnet and Amethyst return to they're mission site. Steven walks out on the beach to say hello to Lion, Steven notices Lion acting strange. "Pearl," yelled Steven,"come quick somethings wrong with Lion!" Pearl walks over to Lion and examines her. "Nothing wrong with her that I can tell." Pearl pets Lion and she doesn't even nuzzle her like she usually does. Pearl walked back inside. "I'm sorry you don't feel good Lion." Steven hugs Lion and closes his eyes. "Steven?" Said a mysterious voice. "Whose there!?" Steven looks around and then at Lion, he is shocked to find that.. Lion had turned into Rose. "M-mom?" Said Steven not believing what was going on. Rose smiled and hugged Steven. "I had to give up my form for you to be born," explained Rose, "But, no one ever said anything about becoming a Lion!" Rose laughed. "This is awesome!" Exclaimed Steven, "we have to tell the others!" Steven started to walk to his dad's car wash, "Dad! Dad!" Yelled Steven excitedly. "Wh- Oh my stars!" Greg couldn't believe what he saw, was it actually his wife that he loved and cared about? "Is it really you Rose?" Greg said as he started to cry a little. "It's me!" Rose walked over and kisses her husband. After a while Rose and Steven started walking back to the temple, and the gems had finally returned. "Guys guess what!" Steven said swinging the door open fast. "What's wrong Steven?" Said Pearl. Steven stepped out of the door way and Rose walked in. "Rose!?" They all said with disbelief. Rose smiles and gives everyone a hug. "R-rose," Pearl says with tears running down her face, "d-do you remember me?" Rose giggles "Isn't that a silly question, of corse I remember my blue bunny." Pearl blushes her blue hues. Steven yawns, "sleepy Steven?" His mom says. "N-no! Not at all, I want to spend time with you!" Rose hugs Steven "I'll be here in the morning sweety." Rose carried Steven to bed and sang to him until he was fast asleep. Rose walked down into the kitchen where Pearl was. "We have a lot of catching up to do" Smiled Rose.
