I went to my spot and took a nap. After that I got up and got dressed then waited as people started practicing and getting together talking with family and friends.
I watched as children laughed, I wonder why I had no happiness like them. I watched as supporting parents walked with their children. I imagined that being me. Why couldn't I have a family like that? I'm not a bad person.

As I was daydreaming a ball flew straight past my face. I heard two voices that I didn't wanna hear. Lisa and Aaliyah ran after the ball. I was hoping they didn't notice me, but I don't think that was gonna happen. Lisa looked dead at me and seconds later four eyes were landed on me. They stared at me as if I was a movie or had three eyes. Confusion hit there face then they saw my bags and it all struck there brain.

Lisa just stood looking at me and Aaliyah took her glasses off and starred at me. Liyah hardly ever takes off glasses off. Lisa stopped staring and finally spoke.

"Are you homeless?"Lisa said pointing to my bag of clothes and food.

"Yes" I said holding my head down in embarrassment.

"Where are your parents?" Liyah said sitting down next to me.

"She kicked me out" I said playing with my fingers

I mean dang I've done alot of messed up shit. And when I say alot I mean alot, but my mom would never kick me out. Ground me,beat me,put me in a cast, Nearly take my life ,but kicking me out? My mom would never do something like that no matter what. That only leaves me to wonder what she did.

"What the hell did you do for her to kick you out?"I said sitting down next to her

"I fought her." T said throwing rocks around

"You fought her ? You lucky she didn't kill you." I said looking at her as if she lost her mind, which I think she did

"Nah if I hadn't fought her that's where I would've ended up". T said laying back against the wall

"What's that mean? " I said absolutely confused

"She beat me, unconscious sometimes" T said with pain written on her face

"Dang you had It bad" I said shaking My head

"I feel you" Liyah said shaking her head

"You get abused too?" I said with complete shock

"Nah not physically but verbally abused, in my parents eyes I'll never amount to anything". Liyah said shrugging

"That's why you had Me pick you up?" I said with a questioning tone

"Yeah, mom's said I was a waste of time, and I find it funny considering my name means highest most exalted one. " Liyah said chuckling a little

"Well get your stuff and put it in your locker cause when we leave I'm taking you home with me T. And Liyah you're spending the night." I said standing up

"Aight" both Liyah and T said

"Cool come on its time for you to kill it baby girl." I said helping Liyah up then T.

We walked In the school and we encouraged Liyah during the many performances before her. When they called her to go on stage she stood for a moment. I thought it was cause she chocked but she smiled and said I like that nickname before running on the stage.
