she leaves him empty handed as she follows the path leading to the palace. his hand grasped hers stopping her from continuing any further.
she felt an unfamiliar feeling in her, what was this powerful feeling?
he reassured her by walking along beside her hand in hand. she stops in the middle of the path to speak, when she tries to her voice sounds like she hasn't spoken in 10 years. when nothing came out the boy planted a small peck on her hand. she blushed, she didn't even know this boy's name and he's already had such an impact on her. for a minute she didn't even care to know his name, she just wanted him. suddenly the thought of her parents flooded her mind. she sighed, she had to go back with them, but a little bit longer with the boy couldn't hurt, right?
this felt like the cliché Romeo and Juliet scenario.
the boy spoke, his voice was a mix of heaven and lust, he may have been poor but his voice was rich. she just wanted to kiss him, but she couldn't.
she couldn't make up her mind, as she thought loudly she saw a figure storming their way from the palace towards them. her father. she knew she was in deep trouble.
she couldn't move, fear and panic overcame her, and the boy stood beside her and didn't leave her, maybe he truly cared.
when her father came close the tone of his voice wasn't a good sign. he gripped her wrist harshly there would be marks by tomorrow.
"you are forbidden to see that wretched boy," her father spoke in a menacing voice.
"and you" he looked to the boy. "stay away from my daughter or you'll be damned!"
the boy didn't move or flinch he stood there silently.
her father ignored her protests and continued to drag her away from her true love.
what a tradegy.
