Hi my name is Maddison grace I'm 13 years old and I'm an excellent gymnast, well that's what my coach says anyway I live in Australia and I am an orphan well I was. When I was 9 years old me and my parents moved to Australia from New Zealand and on the first day we got to Australia it was a beautiful sunny day so we decided to go to the beach in Sydney, we were having a lovely swim when all of a sudden people started calling out " SHARK"! So we swam over to the rocks and my parents lifted me on to the rocks and then I heard my mother screaming and I turned around and there was a ton of blood in the water and a shark near by and my parents were gone. Then since my mum and dads parents were dead and they had no brothers or sisters that I could remember I was put into an orphanage. But now 3 years later it turns out my mum had a sister Rosella. so I'm now hopping into her car and driving away to my only living relatives house.
"Hurry up"! Screeched aunt rosella " sorry " I said in a soft voice . We're now parked in her driveway so I hop out the car and look at the house I stand their gaping 😧 until I see Rosella coming over to me she hands me my bag and then she walks inside then once again I gape it's horrible there are weeds everywhere heaps of junk like old hoses rubbish bags dog poo cat poo an old fish pond that is filled with poo , mud , weeds, hose, fish skeletons and feathers? But I guess it can't be any worse inside. Oh how wrong I was....
I walk inside gripping my bag very tightly in my hands. Inside the family tv room everywhere there is empty chip packets , rabbits cats , rats , mice , and huge dogs . " Oi , orphan girl" yelled aunt rosella " yes au.. Auntie ros.. Rosella" I stammer " come here stupid" my aunt said unkindly " or do you wanna live in here " I scurried quickly towards her she lead me to a tiny room that was very clean and had 1 bed and a little mattress on the floor in it that was also pretty clean " you , can share with the other idiot of the house " said aunt rosella . She left then out emerged from a desk a girl of about the age of 12 " hello" she said very quietly " my name is Clara Primrose Grace , and well I guess we're cousins" she said nicely " hi my name is Maddison Scarlett grace and yes we're cousins" I said " well Maddison Scarlett Grace welcome to my room" she said sweetly"Thanks Clara so how old are you"I asked" I'm 13 in 5 days " she said excitedly " oh cool ,I must get you a present" I said " oh no you don't have to do that " she said sternly " no I'm going too it's my choice" I said even more sternly "ok fine" she said and turned back to her homework " what are you working on " I asked her " stupid algebra and then my Japanese spelling " she said in a dull voice " oh , do you want any help" I asked her " nah I'm good " she said " I'm nearly done" she said when Clara finished me and her went to the disgusting kitchen and she asked me if I wanted some macaroni and cheese and I said yes so she went to the cupboard and got out the packet.
