So Zia takes takes me to Sadie for my next class. There Sadie taught me some spells like
Na-tah for protect
Tas for bind
Se-kebeb which means make cold
And of coarse, my all time favorite
Ha-di for destroy
Then she taught me how to make a 'Shabti' (the magical wax figurine). I made mine in the shape of a mermaid. I don't know why, but I just did. So after the lessons got over. I headed over to my room. It was a great big room, With a balcony, a huge king sized bed and a table full of my favorite blue snacks. Did I miss anything, oh yeah the room also comes with a wardrobe. I was so exhausted, I thought of getting some shut eye. But first I have a few calls to make. I have everything needed to make a rainbow. Why a rainbow, so I can iris-message...duh. I put the prism into the bowl of water, and switched on the flashlight. Then I threw some drachmas in and called 'Annabeth', my girlfriend. But what we talked about was kinda personal so I'm not gonna talk about talk about it. Then I took another drachma, threw it in the water and said
"O Iris goddess of the rainbow, accept my offering, show me Sally Jackson in Manhattan"
Immediately a mist appeared and an image of my mom formed. She talked about how things are going with Paul, my step dad. Then she said something that surprised me.
"Percy, I haven't told you the whole truth yet. You see Egyptian gods don't go around having affairs with mortals. And that means Egypt doesn't have any demigods. But....Anubis the god of death had a demigod child, and she was your great grandmother. And her abilities have been passed down to you. And also your great great grandmother was the daughter of Vulcan. And her abilities are also passed down to you. Our family is special. Our family has roots from Roman, Norse, Egypt and you are Greek. You have control over fire, water, sky and death. You're like one of your friends, 'Frank Zhang', the only reason your life doesn't depend on an object is because you are a child of the big three. Then the connection started fading and mom said "bye Percy, and take care"......just like that she was gone
