Chapter 3 ~ Threat

Adam's POV ~ 6:30 A.M.

We were working on it all night. The 'hackers' were sneaky little beasts. They sent in a fuzzy video message wearing black cloaks, shadows covered the upper part of their faces. "Le.. t... scE... En.... T-" I replayed the video over and over.. it made no sense. I played it backwards, I swore I heard the faint sound of a music box. A child's music box.. Ugh, I was tired. That's all. I turn around in the chair to find everyone asleep. I couldn't help but pass out on the desk.

Tyler's POV ~ 7:00 A.M.

I wasn't one for showing any weakness around them. I stood up, ignoring the pain. Suddenly, my ears started ringing. 'Come here...' Well shit. I ignored the voice echoing in my mind, slowly and quietly walking downstairs. I peeked into the lounge doorway, not seeing anybody. 'Odd, they must be downstairs. I won't disturb them, Seto would get pissed at me for getting out of bed without him checking me first. Overprotective twat, to be honest..' I chuckled to myself. Well, what now? I'll just go outside and get some fresh air. I pushed the glass doors open, a breeze blew my bangs out of my face as I smiled.
The perfect Spring day. The sun was shining, wasn't too hot, the refreshing breeze swiftly brushed through the trees. There was an electric fence recently installed around the HQ, mainly because of attacks by completely random people.
Mostly griefers, little shits. Today was going to be a good day, despite the pain in my stomach and my craving for a redbull. My happiness came to a screeching halt as the bushes moved besides me, scaring the living hell out of me. I glanced over, nothing. "Geez... That didn't need to happen. Not like I'm all jumpy lately. Stupid damn plant." I said to myself, the bush moved again, making me jump back. Something was in that bush..
"What the hell.. stupid rabbit, probably." Purple eyes glistened in the bushes, my eyes widened. I backed up, stumbled and fell right on my behind. I pulled myself back. 'Come here, Tyler...' I turned, stood up and ran the opposite direction.
