Demon POV

Glaring at at the bastards staring at my mate from across the table. How dare he sits there and look at her! She is MINE!

I could feel the Alpha heat coming and my lion was becoming more possessive with in the seconds of being in the presence of another male that is not mated.Its getting harder by the second to not just jump over the table to destroy this jack-ass. I would have had better control of my emotions if I was able to gain my final strength if i had the full Alpha position.

All the extra training was meant to help get me ready to become pride Alpha and to handle the mating with my mate. 

Wait......... what was that?

I took a sniff of the air and i was able to smell that odd scent again, it was adding to my anger and I had no idea why.

I link for Trigger to get his ass here, I need someone I can trust to back me up for shit I can feel will go down and Trigger is the only guy I trust to have my back for any fights that happen, and the feeling that I am about to have a fight for my life may happen any minute now.

I can feel my lion snarling that we may never tell Dove why we haven't officially mated yet or figure out why she is not in full blown heat like she is meant to be in by now.

"Demon, is something the matter?" I herd my mom ask with concern in her voice but her expression was that of amusement

"Lion Alpha may we speak in private about the matters I am really here for? It is lovely dinner but I also am in need to return to y land as soon as possible. I was just link that my warriors have caught a witch brewing something on my land." The un-mated Male said with a growl toward the end.

From the corner of my eye I saw Dove shiver, Tensing from seeing that my mate is being affected by this male.
