Why me ? (Chapter-1)

I woke up today when the sun rose with it rays which I felt like it was slapping me left and right, my eyes refused to open but somehow I managed to open. There stood by my door was a figure, the one who has all control over me, Mom !!!
She made a face which cannot be expressed, I remember the last time she made that face was when Aunt Jody forgot my sister in the Walmart. I figured she's mad and I mean really mad, well that's when the clock by my bed caught my eyes, the digits definitely weren't it's supposed to be. I slept through the beep beep, next thing I knew was my mom made me stay home because she's really busy to drop me at school. This might be a good news for most of the children but that's won't be for those who live in my block, there's been 3 people missing and they're not yet been found where yet. That's one of the reason why we're shifting somewhere far far away from this black hole, so I guess my objective today is just stay alive ...
