Roseline's POV:
So after a month of dedicated search, I found that Rain's name is Reneta, now I can trace K through Rain. I decided to go to the coffee shop with Amanda as we both had nothing better to do that afternoon, we both being single is an added advantage in moments like these when we don't have guys tagging along. Well, I have tried dating guys in the past but none lasted more that few month, the reason being lack of any fireworks and butterflies in my tummy.
It was still raining when we left the dorm and the coffee shop appeared blurred through the thick screen of rain.
"Hey" I heard someone call out as we entered the coffee shop, but I was not meeting anyone so I didn't turn to find the source of the voice.I ignored the voice and scanned the room for an empty booth while being dragged by Amanda to one. This time I heard someone call me by my name and I turned to find the ENT professor who I met here, in this same coffee shop on the other day. I waved hesitantly as he motioned us towards his booth .Looks like we are sharing a table, but I am not quite thrilled by his cockiness from last time.
I fond myself sitting opposite to him with Amanda on my right. Looking at him from here, he does have nice lips and a cold eyes which would freeze you with just a look.Well he got me admiring his eyes now, it must be the influence of reading K's journal that I am finding some professor attractive. I was deeply lost in thoughts when I felt steam from a cup placed in front of me.
"Where is Amanda?" I asked suddenly noticing the absence of my friend.
"Well she had to take a call and you were lost in your thoughts" he said grinning at me.
"Oh yeah..Thank you for the coffee" I said taking a sip from the cup in front of me assuming that he must have bought me one.
I couldn't stop staring at him as he was taking long sips from his cup, I can see his lips getting red from the hot coffee, he occasionally stirs his coffee with a small smile directed towards me.It's like he has some rope attached from my neck to his cup, whenever he lifts his cup to meet his lips my neck automatically follows his moves..Damn! he is hot and looks kissable. Wait! What if he is Mr.Kissable? That would be a bummer.
"You didn't have to buy me coffee" I said in a desperate attempt of breaking the silence. He shook his head from side to side twisting his eyebrows but I couldn't quite decipher what it meant.
"So what were you thinking?" he asked raising his eyebrows.
"How long have you been teaching ENT here?" I asked out of blue in a need to check if he is K's Mr.Kissable.
"About five years, but why do you ask?" he said amused. 'Five years' that's exactly the answer I was dreading. What if he is Mr.Kissable? Then he can't be 'MY MR.KISSABLE' and I may find it hard to drop the 'MY' from his tittle, now that I have seen his lips latching on to the hot coffee cup.
"Well, you can do more than staring" he said winking at me.
"Do you flirt with all your students" I snapped, mostly out of disappointment my thoughts caused.
He sat there with widened eyes and mouth opening and closing like a fish, he quickly regained his normal devilish smirk and said, " Oh! No, this is my first time" Well at least now I know he is flirting.
Amanda's POV
I shouldn't have left Rose alone with that guy, now she is looking sad and I don't know what went wrong over the coffee.
"Rose, what happened?" I nudged her for the third time in a row.
"I...I...We...I have a boy....I have a boyfriend now" she stuttered looking pale and weird. She must be sick.
"Yeah! And I have a F*** YOU tattooed on my forehead" I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes in the process, like she must be joking right? She just met the guy and now they are together?! But the look on her face said otherwise, proving I was wrong. Well looks like my friend got herself a boyfriend, who is also her professor. OHHH!
