Zayn's POV
5-11-10
I woke up to the sound of someone rummaging around in my kitchen, banging pots and pans together.
Panicking, I attempted to jump out of bed to get up to see who it was, when in reality, I fell on the floor all twisted up in my covers.
"Shit" I quietly cursed.
Ryleigh came running into my room, he face contorted in worry.
"Zayn! Oh my god are you all right? What happened? Do you need a bandaid? Can you walk-"
"Ryleigh, I'm fine," I said cutting her off sweetly.
"Oh good!" she said, her face brightening up a bit, "I was just going to make some pancakes when I heard a huge thump and- Crap! The pancakes!" She sprinted out of the room and I heard her shout a couple of profound words. A few minutes later she came back in with a plate full of black circles covered in whipped cream and strawberries, she said, "how do you like your burnt flapjacks, crispy or extra crispy?"
I smiled, my tongue poking through my teeth, "Flapjacks? That's a new one," I chuckled.
She sat down on my bed, helping me up onto the heap of crumpled sheets. We just sat there in silence eating the strawberries and whipped cream off of the top when I heard the bang of my front door closing. All of a sudden I saw a little purple haired fairy appear in the doorframe of my room.
When she saw me, she did a double take and her eyes widened dramatically. Just as suddenly as she appeared, she was running out of the room, down my hallway almost out the door.
"Perrie!" I called getting up and following her through the doorway into the cold morning air.
"What do you want you cheating pile of shit?" she angrily spat.
"Just stop! Let me explain! It's not what it looks like..." I started to say as I caught up with her.
I tried to grab her hand but she quickly pulled away and abruptly turned around, mascara running down her cheeks.
"No I think it is exactly as it looks like. You have 1 minute to explain. GO." she spat.
"The girl in there is named Ryleigh. I met her on the plane from Chicago, and she seemed like an honestly good person. Since she didn't have anywhere else to stay, I let her stay here for a night. She slept on the couch, and I slept in my own bed. Honest. I was a bit startled when I woke up to someone in my kitchen, so I fell off the bed, and she scrambled in to see what the bloody hell happened. That's all." I hurriedly explained, the recollection of this morning flowing out of my mouth.
Perrie looked a bit startled, but then choked out, "you're sure that's all that happened? What explains the plate of food you and her were eating hm? Maybe we do need a break-" her face twisting anger again.
"I promise that's it. Ryleigh is a very nice girl, but I don't feel anything more. I don't feel with her how I feel for you. Your all I need, and if you left, I swear I'd break. I couldn't bear the thought of you ever leaving, so please stay. I love you Perrie." I pulled her into a passionate kiss, which at first, she fought against, but then gave in and kissed back. I didn't care where we were, what time it was, or who was watching, until I heard a small voice clear her throat behind me.
"Oh, ummm, sorry Ryleigh. This is Perrie. My girlfriend," I said my face turning an extremely deep shade of red. "Sorry for the unexpected surprise, we weren't going to meet her until later, but I guess she couldn't wait." I said awkwardly chuckling.
"That's okay, its nice to meet you Perrie," Ryleigh stiffly said. "I should go get into some clean clothes while you two take sometime to catch up."
