Gabby was excited to hear this story so she sat quitely down next to her Papa. He started off by saying were it all started. This story went back to Gabby's heritage, she was mostly Italian and her papa was fully Italian. He was the 3rd generation in America. His grandparents sailed over here at the age of 16. Gabby was fascinated by hearing this story is particular, and she didnt know why. Then out of know where her Papa pulls out an old pocket watch. It reflection from the kitchen light hit Gabby in the face. She took a look at it in aw. It looked like it was made of gold, and on the front was a capital T. Her Papa leaned over to her and to her surprise, he gave Gabby the beautiful pocket watch. She was thrilled, but then a thought crossed her mind. "Who's was this. Why was Papa giving it to me of all people." Then she asked, in which he replied that this watch was her great-grandfathers watch. And with this magnificent watch came the story behind it. Then they both heard a big whine coming from right next to them. It was Gabby's little sister, Jessie. Jessie said with her arms crossed, "Hmph. Why does sissy get a present and I don't!" Papa insured her that he gotton her a great present. As Gabby studied the watch she relized that there was writing on the inside. She ran her thumb over the inscription trying to read it. What she saw was more than intresting.
