I regret going to see my grandmother. I know that she was sick, but I didn't know she was that bad. There has been some rumours that my grandmother had killed herself, and that she was a crazy women. An old lady had told some of the other old people that she heard screaming coming from her house one night. I really wanted to go off on that lady. She had also said that it was bound to happen to me as well. I was feeling sad that she had died, and that I was most likely to have her craziness with me. I live in New York City, it's a very big place but I learn to love it anyways. I have a penthouse up there, and I know that it seems that I am a rich person, but really I'm not that rich, and it is only because my mom, and dad own a business together. They bought me a new place there, when I turned 20. My grandma stays in Washington D.C., and she loved staying there even though. I went to her funeral crying my eyes out, and my parents came as soon as I called about her. When my mom came, she broke down really bad. Me, and grandma was closer than ever before she died. We used to talk on the phone for hours, and she didn't sound bad or anything, but sometimes I would hear whispering in the background, but she would tell me that it is nobody there with her. I had gave my grandmother the best kind of flowers that she liked for her grave, which was lilies, while the rest of the family gave her roses. We all went to her house after the burial, because someone had to go over who gets what from my grandmother's will. A women came on the doorstep, and knocked on the door, once she knocked on the door four times, I go, and answer the door. She walks in, and nods her head as I welcomed her into the house. We both walk to the kitchen, with the woman in front of me. The kitchen was loud, until the woman came in. My family had never been that quiet, ever in their lives. We all had sat down, and for some, they stood up, because there wasn't any more chairs, but one of my family members had gave up their chairs for the lady. She sat down, and went straight down to the details.
"She didn't give out a lot of stuff that she had, but she is giving some stuff that was important to her to only some people here." The woman said. I am getting nervous at the fact that all of her stuff is important to her, and I don't think that I am ready for that type of responsibility right now.
"I am sorry, I am Christine Vega, and the first person that I am calling for is Bruce Hudson. Will you please step forward?" Christine says. My uncle was already standing, so he walked to the front of the room, next to Christine, and asked what he was getting nervously.
"For the death of Tiffany Hudson, she wanted you to have her bakery, with her secret ingredients for you to guard with your life, she gave it to you because, she knows how much you love to bake." Says Christine.
"Thank you, I really appreciate this." Bruce says crying, then hugs Christine.
"Next, can I have Steven Poland come forward?" Christine said softly.
He gasps, gets up, and started walking to the front of the room, but when he passed me, I could hear his heart thumping hard. Once he reached the front of the room he was now shivering, like if he was out in the cold for hours.
"For the death of Tiffany Hudson, I give you this..." Christine says to him, then gave him a box, and it was smallish. He was shaking so much, that he had to put the box down on the table. As he was shaking all over, but he still tried to open the box, and his nubed fingers couldn't open the box at all, with the tape, so he ran in to the kitchen, and gotten a box cutter, then ran back into the dining room. He had pulled the blade out, then he had opened the box quickly as he possibly could, and when he did, he had gasped at what he saw, then all of our hearts stopped, at the same time our hearts dropped, he had took out the item that was inside the box. It was a music box
"Thank you, grandma! I wanted this toy, ever since I was a little child! This was the only thing I ever wanted." He said tearing up in his eyes. He opened up the box, and started to cry. A song started to play when he opened up that box. He showed us the box, and it had a picture of our grandmother with him when he was a little kid. He carried the box with him back to his seat. I was ready for the next person who would be called on, and hoped that it wasn't me.
"OK, the last person that I am going to call, is Megan Hudson." Christine said. I gasped when she said my name. Everyone was now staring at me, with huge eyes. I got up very slowly, walking towards the front of the room, scared as I don't know what, but I do know that my heart had stopped for a split second. I could barely stand up at all, my breathing was getting heavy with anxiety, and I am getting sweaty in my hands. I hate getting sweaty, it makes me feel icky, then I take long showers afterwards. When I had finally gotten to the front of the room, Christine could tell that I was nervous, and she told me that it was going to be fine. I tried to calm down, but I didn't.
"For the death of Tiffany Hudson, I hear by give to you what is the most important to her." She said, then brought out a beautiful old box, that has colorful flowers on them, and hummingbirds drinking the nectar from the flowers, and Christine handed me the box. My hands wobble very fast, scared that I was going to drop it. I had put it on the table, scared, and I had opened the box. I was in love at what I had saw. My eyes opened wide, and I felt my eyes dilate all the way, it was beautiful. It was jewelry, with rings, earrings, and one thing that had showed out the most was a black necklace. I took it out of the box, and put it on, and as soon as I put it on, the color changed to blue. I was amazed, a color changing necklace! Christine had looked at me, and she saw how amazed I was to have that necklace. I thanked her, and I knew that I was going to be obsessed with the necklace. Once Christine left I had went to the airport hopped on the plane, and fell asleep as soon as we took off.
