Lucy Heartfilia was a 17 year old girl who lived with her mother Layla and step dad Louie in Orlando, Florida.
Louie has a career as a baseball star which causes them to travel nonstop.
Layla suggests that Lucy goes to move to Magnolia with her father Jude Heartfilia. Lucy is pained by having to leave Orlando, Florida for small town Magnolia.
Reluctantly, she moves in with her father and has to go to Magnolia High School.
She befriends Levy McGarden, Cana Alberona, and Juvia Lockser.
She then notices a strange group of teens who are classified as cool to the other students.
Lucy learns the group's name is called Fairy Tail among them is the sexy, hot salmon haired Natsu Dragneel.
Lucy is somehow drawn to Natsu whereas Natsu shows resentment and hate towards Lucy.
Lucy can't understand why he hates her and why she can't seem to hate him back.
She wants to learn more about the mysterious boy and for him to accept her.
Unknown to Lucy and the other students of Magnolia High Natsu
