It was my night to scout out the city, but like usual, Chat came and watched with me.
"Evening, my lady." He smiled as he put his hand to his heart and bowed.
"Evening, Chat." I smiled back.
The sun was slowly setting behind the buildings of Paris, making everything have an orange like glow to it. The city was so beautiful at night, and I loved to share them with Chat.
I know this may sound silly from what you've seen from me, but I loved his jokes. I just didn't show it.
Chat smiled back, then took a seat on the edge of the building next to me.
"Beautiful night, isn't it?" He asked.
"Sure is, Chat." I let out a sigh. We had just had a battle earlier today, and we almost lost. Just hearing his voice calmed me down.
The sun was now out of sight, and darkness came from behind as the moon, slowly rose into the night sky.
Minutes turned into hours, and nothing happened. No Akuma. No conversation.
I let out a yawn, as it was almost one in the morning. Chat had left, and the streets were silent.
I stood up, almost loosing balance on the building. I stretched my arms and legs, then began to swing myself home.
Once landing in my room, I de-transformed, back into my regular self. And average middle school girl, that goes by the name, of Marinette.
I switched into my PJ's, then went straight to bed without feeding my Kwami, Tikki.
That nights dream was different than my others. Most of my dream consist of Adrian asking me out, or someone stealing him from me. Others include Chat Noir and I meeting up with the Papillon, and ether defeating him, or the Papillon winning, and taking ether Chat or my Miraculous.
But in this dream, all of the past Akumas were back, and were holding our hands behind our backs, as we looked at a dimly lit spot. Moments later, the Papillon waked into the spotlight with a grin on his face. I broke free, and used my lucky charm to try and stop him, but before I could catch the item, I was hit so hard, I almost past out.
My vision was blurry, and my balance was awful. One of the Akumas caught me, and then tied Chat and I together, back to back.
I knew I only had five minutes till I turned back, and my identity would be revealed.
We tried to escape, but it was too tight.
"Chat, my Miraculous is almost out." I said as tears finned my eyes.
"Don't worry, I won't look." Chat assured me.
I sighed. I knew he would see at least once.
The final beep went off on my Miraculous, and I de-transformed. Tikki was in front of me with one of the saddest looks I've seen. One of the Akumas walked up to me, and went for my earnings. I knew I had to let Tikki go. I looked up, tears, streaming down my face.
"Goodbye, Tikki." Then, she was gone. My Miraculous had bee taken, and the Akuma was bringing them to the Papillon. I looked at him, and the grin had grown bigger on his face. He now has one of the two, most powerful Miraculous charms in the world, and it was all my fault.
A loud beeping sound went off, and I shot up in my bed. Tikki was still here, sleeping on my nightstand, and it was time to get ready for school.
