After school the three started walking up the road to the bus stop when they all got a text:

The gang stopped in their tracks and looked down at their phones under the shelter of the bus stop, guarding them from the torrential hail stones pelting from the sky. Their silence was interrupted by the bus driver " are you gettin' on the bus then!" He screeched at the teenagers, so the three climbed on and paid the bus fair before sitting down at the back of the bus.
