Craig's/MiniLadd's POV
This is a week later
Thankfully, Brock is planning on keeping my secret. I was a little worried, but now that me and him are best friends I trust him with my life. Since I've been doing a good job at the bar, he is giving me the weekend off. I'm happy, but I feel bad for him. The weekends are usually the busiest because all of the college and
highschool students are off.
I haven't seen that one guy, Tyler, in a while, but I have seen his little friend every once in a while. He hangs out with our DJ 24/7 now. I talked to Brock about it a few days ago and he said their names are David and Lui.
I slipped my hands in my pockets as I walked around the streets of Los Angeles. I need some new clothes... I've made enough money to pay for at least a few sets of clothing, depending on the cost. I walked into the mall and entered the nearest store.
I walked over to the clothes section and picked out various shirts, jeans, a pair of yellow sandals, and a jacket. I brought them to the counter only to see the Columbian man, Lui. "Hey! You're that bartender guy that Tyler danced with! Fancy seeing you here!" Lui greeted with a welcoming smile. "Hehe, yep!" I chuckled. "Tyler told me all about you! He said you were a pretty cool guy. Craig, right?" Lui stated. "Yeah! Lui, right?" I copied, earning a child-like giggle. "Yep!" He yelled with the voice of a toddler. I laughed, him joining me.
We talked for awhile before departing. I carried my heavy bags over to the alley I always go to. I was about to change when I heard a voice behind me. "Well would ya look at that." It said. I turned to see three men: one wore a red jacket with two white stripes on each strings and an owl mask with a pistol in his grasp, another wore a Jason mask with a blue jacket and a machete, the other one wore a pig mask with striped pants and a white t-shirt with a pink cat on it that read 'I AM WILDCAT'.
"Woah! Hold up boys! Don't shoot!" The pig exclaimed as he walked towards me. I stepped back each time he stepped forward, eventually hitting a brick wall. I looked at the ground in hopes of avoiding his gaze, but he gentle grabbed my chin and brought it up so I would face him.
I looked through the holes of his mask, staring into his bright, lively bluish-green eyes. The fear melted off of me being replaced with the feeling of safety. "Craig?" He questioned, causing my eyes to go wide. "Who are you?" I ask, my confusion growing.
"That doesn't matter right now. What matters is why you are here. What made you think walking through a creepy ass alleyway was a good idea?" The mysterious man questioned. I can't just tell him I was planning on changing into an angel... Wait! I know!
"Oh, it's a short cut back to my place." I said truthfully. It's not the full truth, but it isn't a lie either. Flying is a whole lot faster than walking. He let out a long sigh and stare into my eyes. "Sorry boys, looks like we'll have to keep looking. No one is getting this one tonight or any other night." The man stated, sounding protective.
"Awe! Dammit! I was so excited! I thought I was going to get to stab him!" The one with the Jason mask whined, sending shivers down my back. "Don't worry, we'll find you someone to kill. Just not this one." Tyler assured him. The man let out one last pout before running off with the other man.
"Hurry, get out of here before Delirious changes his mind and comes back for you." The pig warned before running after them, leaving me dumbfounded. I just shook off the feeling and took off. I made it back to the meadow and sat on the green grass in thought.
Tyler's/Wildcat's POV
Jonathan and Evan ran I've to the next alley to search for anyone else that was dumb enough to be passing by. I turned my attention back on the innocent bartender. He's so helpless it's almost unbearable. Helpless in an adorable way. "Hurry, get out of here before Delirious changes his mind and comes back for you." I warned him, running after the guys. I turned to look at Craig one last time to see that he has completely disappeared.
How the hell did he just disappear. Either he's a good runner or he is some type of magician because that is just plain inhuman... Eventually, I caught up with Jon and Evan to see that they had already found a victim. "Vanoss! Delirious! Why did you just leave me there?!" I scolded, trying to catch my breath. "Oh! Wildcat! Just in time! Why don't you do the honors and kill this bitch?" Evan stated, ignoring what I had said.
I sighed and took Evan's pistol from him. I pressed the metal object against the defenseless mans head and pulled the trigger. His body fell limp on the ground. I handed Evan his gun back and crossed my arms. "So, who was that guy from a second ago? Was he your friend?" Jon questioned, resting his hands on his hips.
Who is Craig to me? I don't really know him that well, but I feel like I need to protect him... Why? Why do I feel this way? "I honestly don't know... I met him a week ago at the Liquor Hole. He was the bartender there. Me and him danced during the slow dance hour, but I haven't even seen him until now." I explained.
"Well, from the way you acted when we were going to mug him, it sounded like you knew EXACTLY what he was to you." Evan teased. "No! I don't even know him that well!" I spat in defense. "Yeah, it sounds like you have a little crush." Jonathan snickered. "F-Fuck off!" I stuttered, blushing. "Uh oh! Looks like we hit a nerve!" Evan joked.
I'm going to kill these fuckers one day... Ah, who am I kidding, they're my best friends. There is no way I'd have the heart to kill those fuckboi's... "No! You didn't! Now fuck off! Let's just go back to the base! I'm sure Basically is going to have our ass' for being gone for this long." I said, pushing the thought of me and Craig out of my head.
