Like footprints in the sea,
Like the hums of a bee,
Like a ray of the sun,
Like the fire of a gun,
Like a thought in your brain,
Like a heart in pain,
Like music in a room,
Like the coming of doom,
Like the fragrance of a flower,
Like the foundation of a tower,
Like the end of a rainbow,
Like the inside of a volcano,
Like the noise of silence,
Like the eye beneath a lens,
Like the colours of white,
Like the brightness of night,
Like every one of these,
My feelings seem invisible,
Will my love ever be visible?
