Paradise (Bondi rescue fanfic)

How it began

I packet my things in a suitcase the essentials clothes, underwear etc... As I was packing I came across a photo of my family before all of this happened I put the photo carefully in my case before packing my little brothers case. I don't take my time everything I seen that I thought we needed went in the case we didn't have much time before they come back i grabbed the cases, the passports and my little brother an ran out the door into a taxi. I couldn't believe I was doing this I was finally getting us away from that house and all the bad memories, the taxi dropped us of at Glasgow airport I payed the taxi and crabbed my bags and helped Kyle with his stuff. We check in at the desk once that was done and all the judging looks and stares were over with we passed through security and got something to eat before we knew it our plane was being called for boarding and we were taking off on our way to Sydney.

The journey would be long and I should probably sleep while Kyle is sleeping but all I could think of is how relived I was to take Kyle and myself out of the abusive house we lived in but it wasn't always like that there was a time when we were all happy that was when my dad was alive, my dad died three years ago in a car accident a drunk driver crashed into him forcing him off road and instantly killing him I was only 14 and Kyle was only 1, but since dad died our mum turned to alcohol and every night she would stumble in drunk with a difrent guy who would often hit us, Kyle and I had seen our fare share of hospitals but I had finally had enough and decided to take action. I looked at Kyle and a tear escaped my eyes before I knew it I was drifting off into a deep sleep I woke up 6 hours later to Kyle asking if he could get something to eat when the air hostess was passing bye I got him some food and some colouring pencil and a book.
We only had a few hours left so I stayed up until we landed the time flew bye.

We landed in Sydney airport and waited for most of the people to get off the plane before we attempted to get off so it was easier the summer heat hit me really hard it took a couple of minutes to adjust as we walked down the stairs and headed in to collect our cases the cases took for what felt like hours but really only took half an hour to come out once we had all of our belongings we walked outside to get a taxi to the litle apartment I bought before moving here. We got in the taxi and I told the taxi driver were we were going to Bondi the apartment I bought was just off Bondi beach. 10 mins later we arrived the driver helped me to the door  with our bags I thanked him and payed him. He was such a nice man he reminded me that people aren't  all bad. I unpacked all off our things, found out we're the nearest shop was and bought something to make for dinner then we went to bed as we we're pretty exhausted and jet lagged from the long flight we had endured.

I woke up the next morning to find Kyle had snuck in during the night to sleep with me as he had most likely had a nightmare I woke him up and made us some pancakes, we latter got ready and headed down to the beach with was only a 5 minute walk which was a plus side. We walked down to , the waters edge looking for a spot to put our things down we found a good spot that had hardly anyone near it, I put up the umbrella and laid  out the towels Kyle was sitting making sand castles whitest I took out my drawing pad and began to draw after 3 hours of drawing I decided to go for a swim I asked Kyle if he wanted to come but he wasn't  to keen on going near the water. I ran in the water alway keeping my eye on Kyle on the beach making sure he hadn't wondered off a wave nocks me off my feet when I try and put them back on the sand the ground is nowhere to be found I star to panic as waves push me under the water and struggle for air, every time I come up for air waves repeatedly push me under I finally managed to scream for help but it's to late everything goes black.
