On Posting/Updates

     Hi there readers! As soon as this was posted, I took up a new way of doing things on my Wattpad profile. I'll be keeping this information up permanently so anybody who reads my stuff will know exactly what they are getting.

     Up until third grade, I never really thought about being a writer. My teachers before then just made me write personal or informational pieces that even today still don't interest me all that much. But my third grade teacher had creative writing prompts (sometimes no prompts at all), and allowed me to express the creative stories going on in my head since I was born. My imagination soared, and I realized I wanted to share my passion with the world.

     So when I found Wattpad, I was ecstatic.

     I looked at what others did and was inspired. I wanted to make fan fiction, fantasy, poems, romance, and random shrimp that made others either relate or LOL. But when I posted things, I was always hit with a sense of dread.

     Why did I post this?

     It's not good enough.

     I don't want people to see this!

     I've always been a perfectionist, and I understand that it shouldn't stop me from doing what I love. For the past few months, I kinda let it. But then I realized I don't have to let it. I just have to change how I do things to be able to overcome it.

     So I will still use Wattpad to share my writing. But, I won't post short stories or novels until I have written an entire draft I am proud of, with a beginning, middle, and end. It may just be the first draft. It will likely be the third to fifth one. But I don't want to post things anymore I am not sure of, on a forced schedule. I want to go at my own pace, and write good stuff. This means those stories I've mentioned may take quite some time to publish. But, there are some things that won't.

1. Poetry. It doesn't take much revising and editing to fix.

2. Fan fiction. I don't hold myself to the same standard to write fan fiction as I do other things. :P

3. Quotes/Other random crap I may do.

     So my works won't be completely empty for months. Also, I will try my best from now on to stay on top of communication with others on this site. So if you want to chat, go right ahead.

     Anyway, uh..... that's it I guess.
